Location great the fry up for breakfast was really good value for money and very well cooked. The coffee in the room and at breakfast wasn't great.

The hotel is nice and the staff are friendly. The room was for 3 of us and we each had a very comfortable bed. There was a fan in the room which was very welcome given we were in the middle of a heatwave. The breakfast was fresh and really nice. We had a couple of drinks in the bar and it was a really nice experience. It was quiet and pleasant in there with the option to sit outside in the sun and enjoy the experience. My 2 kids liked it too. It is definitely a premesis I would return to.
It is a pity that there is no air conditioning but we don't get a lot of heatwaves so i wouldn't knock the hotel for this. However, with the rooms being so warm, we had to leave the window open and the proximity to the motorway made sleep an issue. Not a lot that could be done about this though. The breakfast was lovely but we were directed to our seat and told someone would take our order and no one did. We had to self serve, which was no issue but we should have been told that. The shower was tricky to get to a temperature that wasn't too cold and not really hot but was ok overall.

Great bar food with friendly staff.
Rooms a bit outdated. Bed was very small for 2 people. No towel rail in bathroom.
