The area is very nice, easy walk into town and many local pubs and restaurants. Breakfast staff at hotel were excellent, and a decent flexible breakfast. General hotel decor was good and circulation spaces warm.
Hotel room was over-tired, single glazed and a bit crowded. Heating was generally struggling throughout.

The staff serving breakfast were friendly, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bed linen perfect!
Unfortunately our room was a little tired and although very clean, could do with a little redecorating.

The bar staff in the den are very nice and friendly
Unfortunately I found it a little back dated and especially grubby, the room is run down, needs paint, there was a big crack on the wall that needs to be fixed and possibly new bedside and bedroom furniture, no breakfast included for the price of 175 a night and for the condition the room is in its not worth it, with a stain on the coffee table, a spider in the top corner in the bathroom, and the floor carpet old, dirty made it very uncomfortable to stay there. Way too over price for one night and no food included. I won't be back
