Staff were excellent especially reception who were chatty and interested in getting to know us and purpose of our visit.
Location near Stephens Green is excellent, the bar is fab. The hotel is modern and welcoming, rooms were clean and beds were comfortable
The noise level in the bedroom was unbelieveably loud even when I used the earplugs supplied, I got out of bed to check was the window closed, it was. I had read the reviews and was aware of the noise from outside however I hadn't realised it was next door to a nightclub/late bar with outdoor beer garden area.

Great location. Friendly staff
Despite having booked far in advance we were allocated a tiny room with bed against the wall and no space to place any personal belongings. Felt like we were in student accommodation.

Comfy clean rooms
Right next to a night club or disco tech, music blasts until about 3-4 am. It’s so loud it sounds as if you’re sleeping in the club.

The room and bed was very good
My room mate was not allowed enter the room as he misplaced his key, this resulted in him only being allowed to enter the hotel by purchasing a new room. This was completely dissatisfactory.

It’s beautiful, contemporary and cosy.
Very rude staff members. Unsure if they were incompetent or just extremely rigid. But their manner was very unpleasant.
The person who checked us in and checked us out was lovely however a this was a relief. Our issue was with the staff member we spoke to over the phone re our booking, and one, perhaps the same person who was checking out someone else at the same time that we were checking out and it was so hard not to overhear and to ignore how horrible she was to this guest.

I booked the property on Booking.com and I drove from Kildare for one hour and as I arrive in Dublin I was told that my booking was cancelled… There was no effort to relocate me or try and find alternative accommodation. It was an absolute disgrace.
I love the property, but I felt I was so badly treated having my booking cancelled after having it secured on Booking.com and also checking on trivago where rooms were available.. it was an absolute disgrace and no effort was made by the hotel to seek accommodation which should’ve been the minimum even at their expense. It will make me think twice about booking the Dean again.
