Lovely hotel. Appriciated the little happy birthday note in the room on arrival. Great location, right beside copper face Jack's. So there is alot of noise there but it didn't affect our sleep in the very comfortable beds

Stayed a week earlier in a room in the new part of the hotel and it was fantastic. This time around we booked a suite. It was very spacious and was quiet enough despite some concerns in other reviews.
The suite is very tired and in new of renovation. Bathroom taps etc were loose. Grout on floor was dirty and cracked, shower floor was flat so water runs out around the bathroom floor everywhere. The bathroom is far to open to the bedroom. It felt grubby all over in general - it just is in desperate need of a bit of a revamp. As I mentioned above, I stayed a week or 2 earlier in a single room in the newer part where the rooms were much fresher and it was fantastic. Really enjoyable hence my disappointment with the suite.

clean and modern
incredibly noisy I was aware there would be some noise not roaring music until 3 am! I was on one of the top floors and might as well have been on the dance floor. I am aware they are in the night club area but honestly how do they have any business when its that loud? and how can you charge that amount of money when you cant even sleep?
