The property was an excellent location. The staff were lovely and lobby were very trendy
It’s just a bit worn down. Which was disappointing.
The door frame in the bathroom was all warped, the seals in the shower were black with mold, “The Dean” logo on the shower door was half peeled off, the shower was flooding so drainage wasn’t good, the rainfall shower was fine but the shower head was messed up, you could tell it had been taken apart and not put together properly so the water couldn’t get out it was just dribbling which was irritating when you just wanted to go for a quick shower before popping out.
The tv remote wasn’t working and neither was the speaker and we just wanted to listen to come music, the speaker was actually just plugged out. To be fair a girl from house keeping was sent up to get us a new speaker and remote, but we had plans and you just don’t want to spend a short trip dealing with all this.
The smeg fridge was up full and not keeping anything actually very cold.
There was loads of things (kinda white) splattered on the walls around the bed and on the picture above the bed and the soft head board hadn’t been cleaned because there was like food and other, what looked like more body fluids, on it.

Very Good
We had booked a mod pod but were upgraded to the James Suite and it was gorgeous, a real perk. Lovely hotel
There was some noise from the music - I think next door? - it was a Sunday night. The hotel had provided ear plugs and did advise us to contact them if it was too noisy. Husband slept through it all though.

Nice hotel, nice staff, food, room etc. No issues there.
Didn't expect my room to be directly above coppers smoking area so very loud which isn't the end of the world but for 350+ a night it's a bit of a piss take.

The room was clean
The noise made it impossible to sleep, it was like having a nightclub in your bedroom, it was just an awful experience. I’ll never stay here again. Also they look for a deposit at check-in which I have yet to receive back. I certainly won’t ever stay at this hotel again.

The location/ the pool and sauna/restaurant/
No umbrella to borrow??? As the hotel is away from shops and it was raining would have been good for the hotel to have them even if you had to leave a deposit

The hotel is quirky and a fun place.
Overall, customer care was poor and disappointing.
The ethos seemed to be that customers were to be endured and not accommodated. It was like as if a group of students were running the place with a "whatever" attitude.
Not good value for the experience.
