The buskers bar beside the hotel was good , live music, food was nice and drinks were good.
The bathroom in our room was dirty. The rest of the room in desperate need of an upgrade very run down and damaged. The woman we dealt with at reception was very rude and unhelpful unfortunately didn’t get her name.

Fair
Location as i always like to stay in Temple Bar area
The room was very basic, as I have stayed before it was not what I was expecting.
There was a green light flashing above the door, I think this was a fire alarm, but was awful when trying to sleep.

Great location with friendly staff. One room was fine, one room was amazingly tiny.
Some rooms are tiny.

Wonderful
The staff is great. The breakfast is excellent. Especially the barista! Perfect location. Very convenient to have a grocery store across the street, and fun pubs and historical sights within walking distance. I love that it has authentic Irish charm, instead of a cookie cutter chain hotel feel.
We knew our room would be small, especially for 3 adults, but it was VERY small! We had the triple room with a double bed and loft twin bed. We appreciated having a 3 person option, but there was almost no floor space. It was workable, we weren’t in the room that much, but cramped with all the luggage.

Location was good but getting into the car park was a nightmare. The road is restricted so we weren't sure whether we could drive down it, and we went round and round looking for an alternative way in. The phoned the hotel to ask for advice and got routed to someone's mailbox which was very inconvenient.
Very expensive (I guess you are paying for the location). We had to ask for housekeeping to come in - they didn't arrive until mid afternoon. We had to ask for tea bags as they forgot to replenish them. The location is noisy and the street music goes on late (didn't bother me but might bother other guests). TV didn't keep the signal so kept dropping out. We were in a family room and the third bed was particularly small.

It is within walking distance of most sites.
Everything is named Temple Bar. It was confusing, Temple Bar Inn, Temple Bar Hotel, and just Temple Bar, All are different places!

Poor
The staff were extremely professional and welcoming.
For a room that was around 450 euros a night, this was TERRIBLE value. No mini-fridge. No fitness facilities. No pool. No view (windows frosted over). TINY room for this price. No walk-in shower (shower head over a narrow old bathtub). Noise from the street. Old, dated feel. NOT GOOD VALUE.
