Not much
It is on a very noisy street with noisy neighbors so you have to keep the windows closed which makes the apartment very stuffy. The apartment was right on the street level so you had to keep the blinds always closed because otherwise you look the passersby right in the eyes. It was very run down.

We stayed at Staycity Aparthotels Dublin Augustine for one night and found it to be a good option for a short stay, especially because of its great location. We paid €20 for early check-in at 11:00 a.m., which was worth it to us because we didn’t have to deal with storing our luggage. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade from a one-bedroom to a two-bedroom apartment, which meant our third adult didn’t have to sleep on the pullout couch. The two-bedroom apartment was a decent size, with a living room that had a couch, two chairs, and a small dining table with four chairs. The kitchen was basic but useful, with a cold refrigerator, toaster, sink, cleaning supplies, and a Nespresso machine with pods. The property is spread across multiple buildings, and getting to our room required a little maneuvering through the different areas, especially with luggage. The biggest downside for us was that the bathroom smelled like someone had been smoking. There was also no air-conditioning, so we had to keep the windows open overnight. Because of the central location, there was quite a bit of street noise at times. Fortunately, the bed was comfortable enough that we were able to sleep through most of it. Overall, the apartment felt more like a practical, budget-friendly place that might appeal to college students or travelers looking for value rather than luxury. That said, for a one-night stay in Dublin, the location, comfortable bed, extra space, and convenience made it perfectly adequate for our needs.

The staff were amazing - supportive and helpful. They also helped with our luggage after checkout which was a game changer in squeezing one extra day of enjoying Dublin within the stay.

The unit was a small apartment, probably former student accommodation. It has a nice living room, dining area and kitchen. Quite comfortable. The underground parking was convenient but turned out to be quite expensive.
We were on a ground floor unit directly exposed to the street, which made it a bit noisey and felt exposed and a tad unsafe. The area around the hotel was a little questionable as well.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was close to the Guinness Brewery, Temple Bar, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Christ Church, and the river. The apartment was spacious and well appointed for eating in. The washing machine was helpful.

How every room had a door that automatically shut with a loud bang. We prefer the door to the living room/kitchen stay open. The bathroom got very foggy when we showered.

The apartment was spacious and the beds were comfy. It had enough of the basics (and the staff were very happy to be helpful, including providing more of whatever we needed.) The parking garage was clutch, as we changed gears after we'd initially booked and decided to rent a car. It was nice to know we could stow it safely at the end of the day. The apt was also in a nice central area - - close enough to bars and restaurants, etc to be convenient, but far enough to be quiet.
The washer-dryer unit didn't work We'd been on holiday for over 2 weeks and REALLY needed to do laundry. We wasted A LOT of time trying to get our clothes dry. We ended up having to lay them out all over the apartment. Also, none of the doors stayed open! I know that the main door of a hotel room should close automatically, but EVERY door closed this way. After 4 days it got kind of annoying.

The staff was rude. When we checked in, there was a nice guy helping us with all the needed info. But at checkout the experience was unpleasant. They said that they cannot store our luggages, as they have no space. However, we were not informed of such a limitation beforehand. Further on, it was clear that they had extra space, it just seemed that they are not interested in finding a solution in order to keep our luggage for a mere two hours. It is not really pleasant to try to find storage in such a short ammount of time. Heating not working in the living room
