Exceptional
Lovely comfortable and warm room, it is winter and cold outside. Perfect location on the Green and very pleasant breakfast. Such a cheery little garden at the back of the Hotel , you don't feel like you are in the middle of a big city.
I would have liked a bath in the bathroom as well as a shower and the bathroom was a bit chilly too.

Disappointing
The location was convenient, staff were courteous, and check-out was straightforward and quick.
-Room was cramped, with no table/desk or even a chair. Meant lack of convenient places to put belongings.
-Door was difficult to lock from the inside.
-Only one pair of power sockets which are inconveniently-placed for charging your phone.
-Persistent bad/weird smell coming from bathroom with no clear source.

Location was superb. Breakfast was excellent.
No atmosphere in the reception rooms. They need real fires, fake fires are terrible.
