Absolutely beautiful hotel and grounds. Gorgeous, high end, traditional decor in our room and the public spaces. Amazing service. Great location across the street from a lovely park and close to lots of restaurants and tourist attractions. Our “family room” exceeded expectations in size and had 2 bathrooms! Super comfortable beds and linens. The courtyard and gardens were stunning. A wonderful stay… wish it was longer.
Unfortunately, it was hot during our July visit and there was no air conditioning which made an otherwise perfect stay uncomfortable for sleeping. Fans were supplied but did very little cool off the room.

Good location, nice staff, spacious family room and clean.
Loud Dyson fan to keep the space cool, carpets need a steam cleaning, and the partnered parking rebate is very minimal at the Q, still ending up in a €30+ fee per night. No elevator.

The location next to the green was wonderful. The backyard is fantastic! A wonderful place to relax, read, and be peaceful amidst the city. And the hard to get to public park in the way back was just the cherry on top. I also liked the little drink center and comfy reading room...was less a bar scene than just a nice relaxing room. I also liked the small touches of having a cold water fountain, apples on the sideboards, and some info on Dublin. The room was comfortable.
My room was quite warm and I didn't like when the housekeepers opened the door outside one day when I was in the city. (my guess is that they were trying to cool the room down). I was in room 401.

Comtfortable and clean. Staff was very welcoming and breakfast is very nice.
Liked the option to order drinks and bring to the hotels garden, great way to relax after walking round Dublin a whole day.
The cosy double room is nice but to small if you're two people with larger suitecases. Book a room to the garden site as the street site's quite noisy. But there's a great view over the park.
The carpets could do with a change.
The shower is very narrow.

The location is excellent. Very central. Loved the room, so spacious and beautiful. The breakfast was delicious. Would absolutely stay again. Enjoyed the secret gate to Iveagh gardens!
