excellent service, delightful setting. clean, well run. attentive staff and management. wonderful breakfast. couldn't recommend it more highly. prefer It to the shelbourne any day.

Clean, great staff
Disturbed at 3 in the morning both nights.
Inconsiderate other guests making noise; not the propertys fault as such, but walls are paper thin. Also lots of noise through the single glazed windows.

The residents bar closed at 12 which we felt was too early. I know there are nearby bedrooms but perhaps this could be relocated to the back of the house. We were a family group for a wedding and we were disappointed

Unfortunately, the heating in the hallway was way up high and we were boiling in our room - had to keep the door open all day while we were there!

We were on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. After walking through the city all day, I wish it had had one.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast, and excellent location within easy walking distance to many restaurants and tourist attractions.
Not so much a negative as a recommendation for other travelers, but we suggest requesting a room facing the back garden if you're a light sleeper. As the hotel is on a busy main street, the street-facing rooms have traffic noise.

Comfortable bed/pillows. Beautiful period property. Magnificent original Harry Clarke window just off the lobby took my breath away! Staff were superb. Room was immaculate. Location is safe and central.
Being an old building in city centre it was noisy at the front of hotel with sirens and cars beeping. Settled down after midnight.
