I have stayed a few times here and love the decor of the rooms. The beds are comfortable and quiet with little outside noise interference. Lovely building.

Very nice decor in a quiet area. Clean bathrooms and bedding was clean and comfortable.
A bit further away from the central area (20-30 mins walk). The room is clean overall but the walls have some minor stains on them (hard to tell because of the pattern but I saw it).

Unprofessionally managed, badly maintained, tiny safe, not suited for computer, tiny window, next to no view outside, tiny bathroom, sliding shower door not functioning upon arrival, no place to put towels, hairdryer far away from any mirror, hooked up to a drawer, no magnifying mirror, damaged unrepaired wall

We had a really lovely stay at The Schoolhouse in Dublin. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and had every amenity you could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower was fantastic — genuinely one of the best we’ve had in a hotel.
The only downside was the experience when we returned late one evening. The staff member on duty was a bit abrupt, which took away from the otherwise warm and welcoming feel of the hotel

Service at the Gastropub was overwhelmed. Not the server’s fault as the beer garden was swamped due to sunshine but we were left alone after getting our meal, not asked if we wanted anything more, had to flag someone down to get the check. You are in the enviable position of needing more staff!
