Great location for attending an event at Aviva Stadium. Room was spacious and comfortable. Big comfortable bed. Good heating. Good bathroom & towels. Nice walks along the canal. Good vibe with gastro restaurant on ground level. Lovely reception staff. Interesting idea of handing key in when you go out anywhere. Great to have water and little biscuits on arrival and treats as it was my husbands birthday. All much appreciated.
A little annoying having to wait for people checking in (& taking quite a long time to do so for various reasons) to be able to get our key back after going out for a walk.

The location is excellent - you can easily walk to the historic center of Dublin and to stadium/concert venues (which is how I first found the hotel). There is also a DART station close to the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and larger than you might anticipate at first glance. I love the history of the property and the respectful way it has been updated. The gastropub is beautiful and the service is great.
I know this is nitpicking, but I have found when traveling in Europe over the last year I have found it very difficult to find news programs on television; I realize this may be because I have chosen to stay at smaller properties. It is annoying to have to set up YouTube, Netflix, Google every time I turn on the television just to find out what is happening around you and what the weather will be the next day or to relax.

A beautifully restored schoolhouse turned into a charming, relaxing hotel with a phenomenal and accommodating staff. The grounds are inviting and steeped with history.

Very comfortable room in a historic building, good location for walking to sights and shopping, bed and bath were wonderful, breakfast was very good although the room is very dark. Bar area was nice with friendly staff.
Our cab to the airport arrived earlier than ordered and in the confusion of checking out and trying not to keep the driver waiting, we inadvertently kept the room key. I’m surprised they don’t specifically ask at check out for the keys as they are old and expensive to replace. $30 charge to mail from the USA so don’t forget to turn in your key!

Favorite stay in Dublin. Beautiful old school house incredibly maintained and updated. Very clean and comfortable. Perfect rollaway bed for our 4 year old. The food at the Gastro Pub was some of the best we’ve had yet in Ireland. Highly recommend. We wish we could have stayed longer than one night!

We love this hotel's sense of history and gorgeous architecture. The staff were wonderfully friendly, it was easy to park, and the room was spacious. The decor of the hotel is truly unique, with beautiful wallpaper. The breakfast included many options. The beds and linens were comfortable. The walls of the hotel are thick, and ew found our room to be particularly quiet.
Breakfast service seemed understaffed, though the servers were very gracious.

This hotel was absolutely delightful and surpassed all our expectations. The location was perfect, centrally situated and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Both the restaurant and hotel facilities were exceptional, and the staff truly made our stay memorable. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and genuinely cared for, as if we were visiting old friends rather than staying at a hotel. Every team member we encountered was knowledgeable and went above and beyond to assist with our questions and requests.

Food and Bar was great, staff super friendly. Rooms were very comfortable.
Due to waiting on Passport/Visa i needed to twice extend, first time the (I think Manager) was great and i extended a day at a very good rate, when i asked to extend the 2nd day, the lady was offering a 10% discount on the internet rate, but when i checked the rate it was the same as the offered discount. I booked a different hotel around the corner for much less. I just thought it could have been handled better, like the manager did for the first extension, but it did not take away from the stay, very comfortable and enjoyable.

Room was spacious and bed was extremely comfortable. There was not a lot of noise from other rooms (the occasional door slamming but nothing disruptive) and the front desk staff were very helpful. Free parking was a nice touch, and we loved that the air coach from the airport stopped right outside the hotel's front door. Lots of nice restaurants within <10 minute walk!
Would have really appreciated a mini-fridge! There was a small ice bucket provided, but we were instructed to walk all the way to the restaurant bar to fill it. A travel cot (pack & play) was provided at our request for free, which was very helpful, but the mattress was a bit strange. It didn't fit the size of the cot, so a rolled up towel was put next to the mattress under the sheet to fill the rest of the cot but it was still rather uneven. It wasn't a big deal for our toddler, but I wouldn't have felt safe putting an infant to sleep on that mattress! It is a bit of a walk from the main sites, but that wasn't an issue for our short stay.
