All the staff are super friendly and very nice. The rooms are clean and they look very nice. There were loads of parking spaces available and it’s free. Our stay was great would definitely recommend staying here.
The king bed is actually two single beds put together they were okay to sleep in but they could probably do with getting new beds.

Wonderful little guest hotel. We stayed in a deluxe double, and after staying in little guest B&Bs throughout the region (which we loved!), this definitely felt deluxe. The staff is welcoming. Large room and big comfortable bed. Breakfast was great. The location really can't be beat. Just outside the inner circle of the city, so quiet neighborhood right by a little branch of the river. The center of things was an easy walk just over a quaint little bridge. Nice restuarant attached. Would definitely come back.

This was my first stay in the Schoolhouse. A lot of hotels seem to have become very institutionalised. Not the Schoolhouse. It's quaint in a pleasant sort of way, and like any school, it takes a while to find your way about. The exterior is also very well appointed and full of variety. The lunch and Gastrobar menus were very good, and I would imagine have been pruned to reflect customer experience. The prices were on par with the degree of Hospitality and service.
Honestly? Nothing comes to mind.

It's impossible to pay in advance on Booking.com with a card. It's very inconvenient, especially considering I was making the reservation for someone else. I had to look for ways to transfer the money to the person I booked for so they could pay. Even though the amount was initially blocked on my card, they refused to charge it without the physical card being present. My question is: if I hadn’t checked in, would they have been able to charge the amount then?

Very clean comfortable room, albeit a bit short on space for clothing if staying longer than a few days. Staff were very helpful and cheerful. Very convenient to have pub attached to the hotel as well.
More closet and dresser space for clothing.

The Schoolhouse Hotel is a very lovely location in the heart of Dublin. Really nice set-up that made us feel welcomed the minute we walked in! Great bus connection to the Airport as the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Every sight of Dublin is walkable in 30 Mins. - pubs, restaurants, shopping and parks as well. The Restaurant is also very nice with a great menu and drinks - breakfast included.
We would book this anytime again when visiting Dublin - absolutely reconmended!

Allowed us to park the car and leave bags before check in.
The restaurant was able to take our order despite it being almost closing time which was a huge bonus!
