Comfortable beds and nicely sized room. Nice location. Room service was great. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful.
A server audibly scoffed when I tried to order a gin gimlet at the bar.

The location was ideal for the RDS where we were working.
Bed was comfortable and room was very clean.
The service at breakfast was very slow, it’s cooked to order however as we were staying on business and we had early meetings and did not expect a 45 minute wait. Breakfast opened at 7:00 AM (apparently)! We were still waiting to be seated at 7:10 AM. The explanation given for the delay was the staff concentrate on cooking the room service orders first. Even though room service breakfast started from 7:30 AM.

This is a very charming, unique property with lovely rooms and a very nice bar and restaurant. Breakfast was delicious too. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, and it’s a pleasant walk to Dublin City center and nightlife.
One easy improvement would make a big difference: there needs to be a mirror above the desk, as the blow dryer is fixed to a drawer in the desk but the cord doesn’t let you get anywhere near a mirror while using the dryer.

Friendly, accommodating receptionists, car parking, large spacious comfortable rooms, excellent location and interesting building
Service at bistro restaurant and breakfast was a disappointment, Staff seem untrained to understand common food intolerances like dairy. I was not served what I was told was the fish special and when I asked them about it staff got annoyed with me. Staff at breakfast were not immediately accommodating to my egg and dairy intolerance. After I replaced mushrooms for the egg on the veggie breakfast, they were served covered in cream which is not typical. They first refused then reluctantly cooked me mushrooms in olive oil and served me after my friend had finish her full cooked breakfast which I had to watch her eat. It was more the lack of customer service than anything, as I was really looking forward to eating at this hotel.
