Exceptional
The room was very clean and comfortable. Brilliant location.
We ordered a twin room but on arrival, it was a double bed in the room. This was quickly rectified by the brilliant staff.

Wonderful
Very nice hotel. Great restoration of old school. 24 hr front desk. Off road parking. Full Irish breakfast very big! Safe in room. Very pleasant location. Outside seating. Our deluxe room had a small terrace area with table and chairs.
We had reserved a Deluxe King but were allocated a Deluxe Twin. Service for breakfast can be a little slow.

Good
Breakfast was good, staff friendly, location good, parking good.
When we arrived our room wasn't ready, even though it was after check in time. Reception said we have a room you can have. it turned out to be the only room in the old building, although it was ok upon reflection one of the rooms in the new extension probably would have been a better. Also a small gripe at 11pm on our first night the bar staff were putting out beer barrels for collection the next day, it was very noisy and woke myself and my wife.

Exceptional
This hotel was spacious and comfortable . Beds extremely comfortable and shower was hot. Good variety for breakfast and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Good location, easy walking to the main shopping area of Grafton St. An added bonus was the historical significance of the building which had been built in 1859 as a school but tastefully repurposed as a hotel. Highly recommended.

Wonderful
Spacious, cute room with a very comfortable bed and a TV that worked well.
Great space with a lot of character and history.
The gastropub was lovely and the breakfast was good.
Would have liked some nicer bathroom amenities (higher quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash installed in the shower).
The key was way too heavy and it's a little annoying to have to drop it off/pick it up every time you leave or come back.

Pleasant
The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet at night. The front desk staff were excellent. The bathroom facilities and toiletries were very nice, especially the shower.
We thought that the cost of breakfast (E25/$40) was outrageous, considering the price of the room. Breakfast should be included at no extra charge.
The cheap quality hair dryer was nailed inside a desk drawer, and no mirror was within reach. This is the first hotel we have stayed in that nailed it inside a drawer! Should provide a good quality blow dryer.
Twice I had to ask reception for more coffee - housekeeping repeatedly left us three instant coffee packages, and we like to have two cups each. Our wonderful front desk staff(Portuguese young lady) was very responsive and apologetic. Considering the cost of this hotel, we think a Nespresso machine should be provided in the rooms.

Very Good
It was in a lovely neighborhood of Dublin and within walking distance of central Dublin
The room needed a nightlight for the bathroom. The room is just below ground floor and had French doors to a patio, very nice but for privacy at night best to close the curtains. It is best to close the curtains which made the room very dark. If you have to get up in the night it’s a little treacherous. Also, I had to wipe down the table and chairs on the patio. Would have been nice if they were cleaned.
