I stayed in the Gresham as a young student doing an exam In Dublin. I accidentally booked 2 rooms and only noticed when I got to the hotel. I told them it was an accident that it was just myself. The lady said she would have to check with the reservations manager who was behind her.
He would not cancel one of the rooms and I ended up having to pay for two rooms and I ended up paying over €400. Very disappointing as it was a genuine mistake and I did turn up that they couldn’t have done something for me

Good location
Needed x2 different narrow lifts to reach room with x2 children and pram - children clear on booking. Room had camp bed which was very uncomfortable and the window was very drafty and noisy. No bath, poor water pressure in shower. Car park advertised misleading - this hotel has no car park, it instead recommends one up the street which has no affiliation and charges over 30 euro a day. Poorly trained staff forgot to charge me initially, room wasn't ready after check in time and subsequently failed to notify when it was. Overall for the price paid for 'deluxe king size family room' would not use this hotel again vs competitors. No accessibility at the front door - steps so each time we had to lift the pram up, no wheelchair access either - they could make a ramp. Very disappointing. Room setup is cheap - simple paint and fake wood effect marble in bathroom, soaps dry skin, felt more like a hostel.
