The location is perfect, so central to everything. Our room was lovely, good size for Europe, very clean & loved being on the quiet side. Buffet breakfast was very good, the staff were very attentive, bringing coffee/tea & taking away used dishes. Reception area staff were friendly & accommodating.

The location of the hotel is great. Considering this is a very very large chain hotel, the overall experience is a bit better than my expectations. For my feeling it is exactly between 7 and 8. I liked that the room did not have carpet and therefore was rather clean (cleaner than a hotel carpet can ever be). I liked that the shower had an actual door. I liked the white fake marble and the large mirror in the bathroom. I liked that we found an empty fridge in a cupboard which kept our stuff nice and cold after we learned that we had to leave the cupboard open. The a/c was good, too, and thankfully did not switch off when we left the room. Breakfast was also OK. Everything was there that is expected: Continental and cooked in good variety. I do not think that anything was particularly high quality of nicely presented, though.
The bathroom was a bit of a mixed experience. Mostly clean, though. There was a bit of mold on the ceiling. The shower gel holder was a bit broken so that the bottle sometimes fell out. The conditioner bottle was leaking into the shower leaving a small heap of white substance on the floor. The shower door did not close completely and let water drop on the bathroom floor. One of the sinks was clogged. I do not understand why such things are not noticed by the staff? We arrived by car and it is for me still unclear, how the hotel thinks this should be done. There is no obvious parking or a loading bay for guests. In the end I stopped in the street while a family member brought our luggage into the hotel and gave it to the porters there. I received a spam email from the hotel before we arrived, promoting their app. I'd rather have an email explaining how I was supposed to arrive with a car and luggage. Do not get me wrong, the overall experience was totally OK. I'd book this again anytime.

The temple im the room was extremely cold at night, with little temperature controls available. The water pressure was not very strong and the water control handles did not function well. The cold water handle did not work well and the the water temperature was too hot.

Excellent location, efficient staff at reception, comfortable beds. Air conditioning much appreciated in the rooms. Breakfast was decent with a good selection.
The room was a little small with not that much storage. Toiletries pretty basic. No bathtub.

Great selection for breakfast ideal location
Very noisy in room 332 I asked to be moved and got no response. The staff weren’t as friendly this time so unfortunately I will not return to the Gresham. I tried to order a cocktail just before 7pm to be told no you’re too late. Being evacuated just before 6am was understandable but how staff handled it was completely wrong. We were all left with little to no information. I did message the hotel via my booking.com and they never even replied. Very disappointed with my stay this time as when I stayed in march it was fab but not this time. The room was slightly dirty on arrival and we hardly slept for 2 nights as could hear everything above and also very noisy corridor

The staff members in all departments were excellent. The most friendly and helpful people you could hope to meet.
Nothing major but could do with a ramp at the entrance to save lifting heavy suitcases up the steps.
