Location, super friendly staff, in the middle of everything. There are a lot of narrow stairs, we were on the top floor.
Water noise when other toilets are flushed is very loud.

Owner and staff was welcoming and helped with the luggage. Location was good. Room was adequite.
Stairs are very narrow to the rooms. We were fine, it, but people with mobility issues may want to take it into consideration.

Perfect location.
Needed a ceiling fan; Keeping windows closed was a must due to outside noise. Room was stark. No bedside lamps.

Great location with clean and comfy rooms - room was a good size for one or two nights. Traditional music at the bar downstairs and located next to some good bars and restaurants.
No lift so bit of a struggle getting luggage up the stairs.

Loved being above the pub, it was a lively location next to everything. Staff was nice and helpful. Super walkable to anywhere we wanted to go. Live music in the evenings.
If you want to sleep in a quiet place, this is not the spot for you. Also if you have large luggage just know you have narrow winding stairs. Cleanliness is about what you would expect for an affordable spot above a pub.

The pub below closes at 12 am and I didn't know that on my first night there that they would have their beer keg change/delivery that evening. The sound was awful and woke me up. Other than that it was really quiet.

The cleaning lady and sandwich maker were very friendly and helpful. The amount of effort put into getting the internet to work was above and beyond the call of duty. The fact that you are above a bustling pub had its advantages.
The internet never worked for us.
Being above a noisy bar you’d expect some noise. It was louder on Thursday night than it was on Wednesday. What we didn’t expect was the noise level of the other guests going to their rooms and even in their rooms after what must have been a fun evening.

Location is great.
A little noisy but that is to be expected on a very busy street and busy weekend. Locks to rooms did not work well and you needed a tutorial on how to open them, which still was difficult.

Super walkable area, close to many attractions and very convenient. The staff were amazing, special shout out to Adam and Jonathan who were absolutely wonderful behind the bar. Even though it’s above a loud bar, our room was quiet.
