The Mont was a wonderful place to stay in Dublin. The staff were very attentive, the rooms were spacious, and the beds were very comfortable! I would absolutely stay here again. The Mont is also in a great location, lots of food and shops close by as well as walkable to main Dublin attractions.

Poor
The water from the tub faucet and the shower head was not hot enough for washing hair. I had social engagements and really wanted to shower. I had to fill the tub from the wand, which was warm enough. Maintenence looked into this and said it was fine. It isn't. All I was offered for the enormous inconvenience was a complementary cup of coffee? Really?

Hotel was very clean
Staff were happy to hold baggage for us.
Breakfast was absolutely dreadful - sausage was burnt, bacon was like rubber, scrambled eggs looked like they had been sitting there hours, bread was stale - Im just glad I didnt pay €25 per person extra for this.
Room was clean but quite small.

The staff is warm and welcoming, rooms are lovely, breakfast is excellent and the location is absolutely marvelous.
I'll look forward to the reopening of the kitchen - but staff were very helpful regarding finding other places to dine.

The Mont was such a cute boutique type hotel! The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful getting us transportation to the train station. The bar was fun and the location was excellent for doing just about anything in Dublin!
I feel like all European hotels could use some better lighting in the rooms, so it's not unique to the Mont.

For a city hotel the room size is great and well styled. They rooms were quiet, comfortable and clean. The location is great and a good base from which to explore the city.
There were very few shared spaces in the hotel and the breakfast was mediocre.

I unfortunately misplaced her name while traveling. However, the front desk staff was amazing. Especially the lovely young ladie who offered me mint tea when she learned my tummy was upset from all the traveling. I was traveling for a month. I stayed at the Mont my last day of travel. It was my favourite out of all the places I stayed. I loved the location and the bed was so comfortable!

Disappointing
The hotel and bedroom were nicely styled but that's about it. The room is described as a "cosy double" which actually means tiny and you have to crawl into bed as the ceiling slopes over the bed. No face flannels & toiletries were a bare minimum.
Definitely not worth the €380 for 1 night.
Staff were pleasant but marked down for not phoning when room was ready.
The check in time is 4pm!!!! This is way too late. We did arrive early at 2pm & the man on reception said he would call us when the room was ready - obviously no call was received!
Breakfast was mediocre, served in a nice room but very cramped & tables too close together. Guests were constantly asking for buffet items to be stocked up and waiting for items to arrive. There was no butter at all in the building so toast etc had to be eaten dry!
There is only one lift serving 5 floors so you wait such a long time for a lift. Staff with trollies and laundry also use the same lift.
