Everything about the Davenport was first class. The lobby was spacious and welcoming and the staff at reception were professional and very friendly. We arrived early from Canada and were able to leave our luggage at reception. A room was ready for us at 10:30. We enjoyed the lounge in the evenings and the breakfast buffet in the morning. Of particular note, was the friendliness of the staff. Kerry, in the breakfast room, was outstanding,

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel was very clean and beautifully designed, with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The food was also very good and enjoyable. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff is very accommodating! Although we arrived at 5:30 a.m. they held our luggage for us while we went and got breakfast and were able to get my jet-lagged family into our rooms late in the morning - just in time for a quick nap and some sightseeing on our first day. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast at the hotel is really good, too.

The location is amazing. If you're thinking "I need to be on Merrion Square", this is literally a block away. The building is gorgeous. The desk staff very helpful and communicative. The breakfast buffet is a real treat and the room it is offered in is upscale and calm.

Central location and lovely building
Interior design a bit tired and felt like a conference hotel. Dining at the restaurant very underwhelming. The menu for a Saturday night was very limited and unimaginative.

Excellent hotel in a fantastic location. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped — it was refreshing to find proper hairdryers (Dyson!) and even ironing boards provided.
The buffet breakfast was outstanding, with a great selection and exceptional service from the staff. A special mention to Eugenia, who went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and made each morning feel welcoming.
What really stood out, however, was the staff throughout the hotel. They were genuinely warm, friendly, and professional, and it was clear they enjoy what they do. From Neville at check-in to Eugenia at breakfast, everyone helped create a welcoming atmosphere that made the stay even more enjoyable.
Would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

Luxurious hotel in a perfect location. It’s beautifully decorated. Our triple room was a really good size, loved the comfy chairs to sit to watch TV, the king size bed with comfy bedding and the pull out sofa was also really comfy. The bathroom was again a nice size and liked that there was this ledge to place all our toiletries The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. We loved the breakfast buffet especially the cappuccino. And they gave you as much water as you needed. The location was perfect. It was walking distance to most tourist experiences. Trinity college was a 5 minute walk.
