Really nice, quiet, comfortable hotel with friendly staff in the middle of everything! We could walk everywhere but never heard outside noise or noise from our neighbors. The bar/restaurant was lovely as well.
The room size was a bit small, but that is typical in Europe, so not unexpected.

We were visiting Ireland for our daughter's wedding. We had a lot of family in town and many of them stayed at the Mercantile. We loved the location of the hotel! Right in the heart of Temple Bar area of Dublin! Close to great shops, restaurants & pubs. The Breakfast was wonderful! We loved it! The hotel was recently updated and the decorative finishes are beautiful! The hotel staff provided outstanding customer service! We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Although our room was very comfortable and the bed was great-the floor space was very tight.

Fantastic location, friendly and helpful staff, good mix of classic and contemporary decor.
Rooms were tiny but otherwise comfortable. Not the best sound insulation but understandable considering the location.

We had a lovely stay at the Mercantile! The location was unbeatable. Our room was on the smaller side but that is what we had expected so no issues there. The room and hotel were clean and the staff was lovely. We would definitely recommend staying here.
Some of the pubs can get slightly noisy but that was to be expected! Otherwise we had no complaints.

Everything about this hotel was fabulous! It was very clean! The staff was exceptionally friendly and catered to our every need with smiles. It was centrally located and we could walk to most Dublin attractions.

Beautiful hotel in a great, central location - steps from Temple Bar and Trinity College. The design and decoration of the public areas and the room was lovely and super cool. Front desk staff was super helpful and called us a taxi for our very very early flight in the morning.

Updated rooom, very clean, and daily cleaning service was top notch. Absolutley loved the bar and the decor and colors chosen for rooms.
The smell in our room was very offputting. Seemed like it was coming from the bathroom, was maybe the water or something else, was very gross unfortunately. This was only negative besides how small the room was, but I knew how small it was when we booked.

The hotel was in a fantastic location. We were able to walk to all the sites and pubs we planned on going to. The breakfast was fantastic and the serving staff were awesome. We loved the decor and ambiance of the hotel. The little café attached to the hotel had fantastic espresso drinks.
The bed was very hard. The price was decent for the area, but not great, and the room was very small.

The location couldn't be more perfect. The rooms are small but it is in the middle of the Temple Gate area and we didn't expect anything else. The area is easy to walk around and get to so many different places.
