Our room overlooked the ocean and the large bay. Walking distance from the train station with stops along the way to the beach. Across the street is a coffee shop and restaurant. Staff was pleasant. Parking was provided. The breakfast was good.

It was a bit run down - well used carpets and worn furniture. Nowhere to eat after 8.45pm. The room was small.

It is like a nursing home, do not stay here
From start to finish our stay at your hotel was terrible. I booked an executive room with a sea view, the room had a squeezing fan directly outside the room so we asked to change. We were given a lesser much smaller room with no view. The reception staff were not competent and entirely unhelpful throughout the process and challenged us when I told them the original room has a horrific noise, and was not speedy in relocating us. Every day the smell of the restaurant carvery wafted into our bedroom and throughout the hotel to the point of making us feel nauseous…every day. We were woken every morning at 8.15 for room service, which not just annoyed us but every neighbouring room. This is not acceptable in a so called “4 star” hotel. Breakfast was absolutely terrible, we asked for coffee when we arrived at breakfast, didn’t get it, there were no glasses to avail of juice or water (I had to go get my own coffee cup to just access water) and when we asked the only waiting staff member about the coffee she stood at the reception for an extra 15 minutes, refusing to get it. She delivered it just as we were leaving. I would never ever ever recommend this hotel to anyone and recommend Booking review this hotel before assigning it any star rating, it really is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and horrified that we were charged an executive room rate for a smaller substandard smelly room
