Lovely location with great views from the garden
The entrance in to the parking area was on the corner and easy to miss when arriving for the first time.

At the end of our tour of Ireland, we stayed at the Marine Hotel. We booked a standard double room including breakfast for one night (10–11 September 2026) Positives The hotel staff are friendly and helpful The room was spacious with a view of the garden The hotel has its own beach access
Negative The hotel is in Sutton. It’s quite a long way from Dublin city centre. We chose this hotel because it was relatively close to the airport yet in a lovely area. However, there isn’t much to see in the immediate vicinity. Cleanliness is OK (could do with some improvement) Breakfast is OK – don’t expect too much Recommended for a one-night stay if you need to get to the airport the next day.

Service in dining room was sometimes slow due to shortage of staff. The lift did not reach the floor our room was on.

Bathroom was awful and didn’t look clean. Asked for a different room and was told by the front desk that this is the room you get through Booking.com.

Fascinating! The huge Garden of the hotel ended at the beach, which had tides! If you get a good price it's lovely to be there take a swim in the pool and just watch the bay! I had a great bathroom!
The stuff was friendly but overworked in parts, so please hire more people! Maybe because it was end of season everything was a bit routine but that also gave freedom to stroll along the garden... So it was a great pleasure. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but then an easy travel trip the centre.
