Location is quite good. close to DART station.
Interior is seriously dated. Room was quite cramped but clean and functional

Disappointing
Housekeeping were excellent. The hotel room was immaculate throughout the stay. Please send on our gratitude to this team. They were outstanding.
Restaurant and bar service was disappointing throughout the stay. After a disappointing opening night at the restaurant (slow service and mediocre food quality), we did not consider the restaurant for any further meals.
Certain bar and restaurant staff were untrained given that it was an issue to order a brandy from the bar on Friday, July 31st. It took two attempts to purchase a brandy which was a red flag.
Bar clientele was an issue on the Friday night. A person in the bar (looked to be a non-hotel guest) started to pester us in the lobby on Friday, July 31st. While a bar manager finally did come to escort the individual away, it was not a pleasant experience and we were forced to move to our hotel room.
The hotel room (141) was extremely hot. There was a room fan to address the issue, otherwise we would have demanded a hotel room switch immediately. The hotel has massive potential but there are clear issues to address with the bar and restaurant side.

Wonderful
The water views of the property were stunning. And the hotel itself was impressive.
The benches out by the water were really old, and one was broken, missing a slot on the seat. And the hotel listed all the great amenities but lacked transparency regarding the lack of air conditioning. I wish I had known before I booked. And the two small windows looked out over a really ugly roof top.

There was a fan in the room which was very handy and slept like a log, there was work going on downstairs in the reception but was not an issue.
I felt sorry for the barman as he was rushed off his feet and took a while to get drinks even though he was very hard working. I Always stop here when in Dublin.

The location was perfect for my commute to work on Sunday morning, the bed was also very comfortable! I liked how the room had a smart TV.
The side of the bath kept falling off during the night, the room was extremely hot and made sleeping conditions very uncomfortable despite the window remaining open.

Loved the hotel and the lounge downstairs. The breakfast was also delicious!!
Our room was a bit warm but the staff, who were the sweetest and nicest people, brought us a second fan. We appreciated it a lot!!
