Close to the water, nice view. Room was good.
The bed was not a king, very hard and uncomfortable pillows. The food was not good, expensive for what you get.,

The location os very convenient to Malahide and Howth
The garden at the back of the hotel has such great potential, but unfortunately there were tables and chairs left on the lawn as if abandoned from a wedding party and there was rubbish on the ground. The 2 swing egg chairs looked again as if they had been abamdoned and were wet, the cushions not having been taken inside. In the dining area many of the chairs looked like they needed a good rub and there was rubbish lying in the window sill which also needed cleaned

The breakfast was good and the staff in the dining room were all very pleasant & attentive. The staff in general were very good humoured. The atmosphere was exceptionally relaxed and I will certainly recommend it to others. The view from the hotel was spectacular.
I didn’t realise that there was a swimming pool there so I didn’t have swim hat or flip flops with me. Perhaps guests could be told in advance about this facility.

Pleasant
The location is great. The property is nice and convenient. The bar is great and the staff is very nice.
The bathroom was very very dated, especially for the price per night. The shower curtain rail was fixed with a plastic cable tie, the bathtub was fixed with some putty which looked dirty, the sink was old and there was fat lose silicone everywhere. There was no vanity kit in the bathroom and no space or shelf to keep the toiletry bag. For the money we paid per night the bathroom needs updating. Also, I’m vegetarian and the breakfast was very basic. Great if you like an Irish fry but only cheap bread, no cheese, no healthy options.

Wonderful
Had a sea view room and it was great. Looked directly on to Dublin Bay. It has a great beach which gets very large when the tide is out and could sea Harbor Seals basking on the sand bar when the tide was out. Very beautiful. Easy travel on the DART and/or Buses to Howth or Downtown Dublin.
Was not much of a restaurant. Had a funky elevator that only went up one floor. Having a 200 level sea view room meant up to the 1st floor by stairs or elevator, down a long hall and up another set of stairs to the 240 to 244 sea view rooms.

Disappointing
Close to the ocean. Friendly staff.
Entrance to hotel was located in a busy 4 way intersection, which made entrance and exit challenging. Room had too much furniture for it's size. It was hard to relax as there was nowhere comfortable to sit unless you were on a bed.

Beautiful room, friendly and helpful staff. Incredible view over the coast.
Nothing to complain about except a mix up with our group order in the restaurant.
