We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant, a very generous roast beef.
It was about what we expected for a three star hotel

Poor
The location of the property is nice. Public transportation is close by and easy to use. The property is also located on a quiet street. The Pub/Bar/Restaurant on location is very convenient and of decent quality. However the music played was fairly loud at times and could be heard in our room on the next floor up.
Upon arrival we discovered that none of the power outlets in our room worked. The staff at reception was sympathetic and kind, however marginally helpful. The only solution offered to me was to be given a power bar just long enough to run from an outlet outside of our room and under our door. Anything we did that required power resulted in us huddled on the floor by the door or edge of the bed. No compensation or credit was offered or given to us, and we were never offered a new room. The next morning i checked with the staff on the morning shift and they had no idea there was an issue, further proving the lack of importance or concern the staff had for us. We went into town for the morning and returned in the afternoon, and still the issue had not been fixed or looked at. The issue (tripped breaker) was finally fixed by the time we got back to the property around dinner time.
The room we had (room7) was very small, extremely low budget, out dated and bland. Just big enough for the bed, two bedside tables, small desk and a closet wardrobe; the room had just enough room to walk around the bed and little room to store and access your luggage. The furnishing in the room was worn down and scuffed, and looked like something you would see on the side of the road for free, or maybe in a cheap motel last updated in the 80's. Our room did not look anything close to what the pictures online looked like.

Room size on the small side but enough. Shower a bit small too. Heating comes on whenever but it wasn't cold or anything. Not too much noise around. Good food, good beer.
