Spacious parking. Good food and night porter was excellent.

Room was a reasonable size, didn't spend a lot of time in it. Overall impression of hotel was a bit grubby and dated. Looked a lot better on the outside than the inside. Staff only ok, not overly friendly. Breakfast was very average
Staff not overly friendly, felt it was quite expensive for what it was. Rooms and interior quite grubby and dated. Didn't use pool or gym as didn't spend much time in hotel.

Staff generally were very pleasant, welcoming and helpful. Room was less than we were given on several previous visits. I may have contributed to that by asking for a room to facilitate my recent knee operation.
The room we were allocated appeared not to have been serviced during our stay. I had to ask Reception on two occasions for top up supplies of tea bags, coffee, milk and water. I asked one lady who was cleaning on Monday for a check-up and she promised to call, but didn't.
I found some flaws in the maintenance, especially in the bathroom: the door catch didn't keep the door closed, and the locking system stuck on the one occasion we used it during our 4-nights stay. Some floor tyles are loose, and some are protruding above others. The toilet bowl has a crack on the top right side edge.
I suggest these are relatively minor maintenance issues, that I never before saw in the Maldron.

The staff at reception were pleasant
The room was roasting. Fan provided in the room didn't work. The room clearly hadn't been cleaned very well. The ground floor balcony door wouldn't close, let alone lock. The halls leading to the room were filthy. Breakfast was average.

Big hotel. Access to gym (ok) and pool.
Dust on surfaces. Very very warm in room. No air con in hotel rooms and one dusty table fan in room. Hotter inside than outside. Slept on top of duvet both nights with fan on
