Staff were very helpful and polite at reception. Had a meal in the restaurant which was really tasty and the food was to a really high standard. Again the staff super polite, helpful and quick.
stayed in the city pod room. clean well presented but the room was a sweat box. couldn't get the air conditioning working. It did have a fan but all it did was push hot air around the room. The air conditioning did come on the next morning. the Shower pod looks the part and to be fair the shower itself was quality but the water ran out under the door across the room to the bed. shower in the morning I put a towel across the door but the water still came across the room albeit less. I think if you're doing a short stay one night there are better options out there in equally good locations at the same price or better. However based on how excellent the staff were I'm thinking if I was upgrading the room I would have had a better experience.

The hotel is aesthetically pleasing and the staff were generally kind.
We had two nights booked. The second night, there was a party happening at an outdoor bar next to the hotel--the party had very loud amplified music and a DJ shouting into the microphone, and it went until 3am. Our room's windows looked directly out over this event and the noise coming in, even with the windows and curtains shut and us both wearing earplugs, made it physically impossible to sleep. We asked for a room in a different part of the hotel but they were fully booked. Without being able to sleep, and given that we had a transatlantic flight to wake up for the next day, we made the last-resort decision to check out early and find another hotel to stay in that night, even though we'd prepaid for the night. The staff at the hotel made it seem like a refund would be possible if we went through Booking to get it, and Booking made it seem like a refund would be possible if the hotel okay'd it--in the end, the hotel denied our request for a partial refund after much communication with multiple staff members. I would caution anyone against staying at this hotel.
