Wonderful
Such a warm, friendly staff who greeted us very early in the morning with coffee and a lovely place to sit a while as we recovered from our long flight. Rooms were made available as quickly as possible to make our first day happy.

We thought it was a lovely hotel - the location was ideal, the staff were really helpful and very friendly. The bed was super comfy and the shower was hot. We will definitely stay there again the next time we visit Dublin. Thanks to Helen and all the staff for making it an enjoyable experience!
Nothing, everything was good. The only negative was the lack of TV channels, which did not affect our stay!

Excellent staff and pleasant.
The room was small and dated. Caulking needing to be replaced. Dirty windows. Sink had two spigots so you either had cold water or hot water and the only way to wash with moderate temperatures was to fill the sink. Toilet was continually running. Alarm outside was going off 24/7 for 3 days and staff unable to do anything about it.

Location was amazing - less than 10 minute walk to River Liffey, and we were very comfortable in the area. It was a quick taxi from the airport. We also loved that we were able to keep our luggage there before our room was available for check-in so we could roam around freely without our bags!
The room was also incredibly spacious!!

The staff was great; the room was comfortable; parking at the Clifden was easy and convenient.
You could hear people in adjacent rooms, as well as in the rooms above and below. It made it difficult to sleep given that some people are inconsiderate and speak loudly.

The service was outstanding and the location was great. The breakfast is worth the extra cost and the the little bar they have is fantastic.
It was a little tight for 4 of us with luggage and the two double beds, but it was great overall. Also, there really isn't parking, but they accommodated us well.

The hotel is in a great location. It’s close to transit ( I took Air Coach from and to the airport and the stop is almost across the street from the hotel!), shopping, and restaurants. The staff was very competent, helpful and friendly. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Even though my room faced the street, it was very quiet! There are plenty of outlets for your devices; don’t forget to insert your room key into the slot near the door to enable electricity to your room! Breakfast was wonderful. A great selection of breakfast food: eggs, breakfast meats, fruits, yogurt, juices, breads, coffee etc.
Everything was to my satisfaction.

Well located on a main street with many restaurants, coffee shops and a Subway sandwich shop within walking distance. Short walking distance to many good Asian restaurants. Easy Bolt pickups and dropoffs. Comfortable room with tea kettle to make own tea/coffee in room. Very helpful front reception staff who facilitated an early check-in and allowed us to have coffee in the hotel's dining room while we waited for room availability. Luggage storage available if arrive early. 24-hour helpful and friendly staff at reception desk. Nice historic dining room with a variety of breakfast items...not too elaborate, but quite nice. Filtered water cooler available in hall corridor. Welcoming atmosphere.
The only negative was the loud phone conversations in the room next to ours that you could hear through one of the walls. However, this is a reflection of those guests and not the hotel and had a minimal impact. I would still make future bookings at the Hotel St George despite this issue, based on all its positives.

The staff was very accommodating. I initially made a mistake for the dates I was coming. I sent them a message through booking.com and they responded in a timely manner and adjusted my dates. The new dates cost a little more so I asked if they would comp me 2 breakfasts and they said yes. The breakfast was very good and had scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, juices, coffee, yogurt, fruit and many types of bread. Check in was very easy, the room was very comfortable and even though my room faced the street, it was very quiet. The room was spacious and had very good lighting. If you go in the winter, you can turn the radiator on by turning a knob on the right side. Important, like many hotels in Europe, you must insert your room key into a slot by the front door in order for the lights and outlets to work! The bathroom is large and everything works very well. The location is great. I used Air Coach to come and go from the airport and their pick up/drop off spot is a 5 minute walk away. There are many restaurants within walking distance as well as shopping. I bought a “visitor leap card” which allowed me to ride their trams or buses within Zone 1 which is where all the tourist places are located, like The Guinness Storehouse, The River Liffey Boat Tour, The Rock n Roll Museum of Irish rockers, etc. You can buy the leap card at “Spar” stores (they also say Circle K but I can’t confirm that. The leap card is cheaper than buying a one way ticket and much more convenient then needing to buy one each time.

We only stayed one night but our experience was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our family room was really big, and this hotel was the only one in our two weeks stay that didn't have awful pillow.
It was difficult to get our suitcases down the stairs, but the front desk staff helped us get our bags down.
