Two people really stood out, Julianna who helped me with the Charlemont suite and made sure the drills didn't interfere with the course I was running for Dept. And the room service guy, he was wonderful.

Location
The construction ment it was a war zone at 7am the reception we rung at said construction didn’t start till 8 which was a lie. The banging and hammering was unacceptable. Emailed to the company 6 days ago no reply they just ignore

Location and staff excellent
Noisy with a lot of building work going on which we should have been told about. Limited water supply/pressure which was a bit of a nuisance. We paid 50 euros extra for our dog to stay and the room we were in had only lift access (lifts often full) to ground floor with the route out the front door via the restaurant/bar area which is less than ideal when trying to let the pooch out for a toilet break. Overall expensive and a little disappointing but staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel was within walking distance to everything but also far enough away for a peaceful and quiet stay. Friendly and welcoming staff and comfortable and clean rooms. Great selection at breakfast aswell.
There are currently building works going on within the hotel reception which meant things were a bit loud around 10pm on the Saturday morning but other than that there were no issues

Everything was good, but I was told I was getting a queen triple room, instead I got a standard room with a double bed and a very uncomfortable pull out couch.
I had phoned the hotel the day before to see was my booking in order and if there was anything I needed to know.
There was no extra info given
At reception, I was asked for ID, I had not thought of bringing any ID, luckily my sister had ID.
Then I was told my card had to be pre authorized at this stage and I had to have the full amount of money on my card including 100euro deposit (even though the receptionist told me the day before that we could pay separately) I was told it was only a pre -authorization and money would not be taken out until the end of our trip, that evening the full amount was taken out of my card without my permission, leaving me broke for the rest of my trip.
At no stage was I told I had to pay 100e deposit, not on the booking email nor on my phonecall the day before.
Communication at this hotel is brutal.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very clean. The beds were very comfortable.
