I stayed at the Herbert Park Hotel on Friday night and had a truly wonderful experience. The service at reception was exceptional from the moment I arrived, and I was even offered a complimentary glass of Prosecco for booking through Booking.com — a lovely touch that made my stay feel extra special.
The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was super cozy, and the bathroom was absolutely amazing. Overall, I couldn’t fault the stay itself in any way.
The only disappointment came when I went to book again for June 2026. I was genuinely shocked to see prices of over €1000 per night for a smaller room than the one I had paid €175 for. I understand that summer rates are higher, but that level of pricing feels excessive and really took me by surprise.
Aside from that, my stay was excellent, and I would happily return — but only if the pricing is reasonable.

My Room lovely and was clearly a double rather than the single id booked.
Meal was amazing and complimentary drink at bar nice touch from booking.com. Downstairs is beautiful.

Lovely environment. Food is outstanding. Room is spacious and very comfortable. Excellent location. Easy parking. Super experience and rebooked already for short stay before leaving Ireland.
The only issue I had were the glass doors entering the lobby with my luggage. I’m on an equestrian holiday and (unfortunately) have several pieces of luggage. It was cumbersome without a doorman or automatic doors, but I may be an exception with too many pieces of luggage for my holiday.

Vanessa greeted us upon arrival, which was around 10am and they were able to fulfill our early check in request. They also went above and beyond and upgraded us to the Park Residence area since we were staying for a week. They gave us a bigger room that came with a kitchenette, sitting area and dishwasher and washer/dryer. The breakfast was amazing and worth the extra fee.
The mattress was a little firm but we got a good nights sleep every night. We chose this hotel specifically not to be near the busy downtown area, buses/trains and taxis are easily accessible for a 10-20 minute ride to Temple Bar/O’Connell street area.

We love the location. Herbert Park is lovely and we enjoyed people watching in the morning as we ate our lovely breakfast. The pubs and restaurants nearby were great. We would definitely stay here again.
