Very nice space. Good food outlets.
Lack of staff response and communications. Blind associate could not navigate the building. Few fire extinguishers. Not great for lone good looking people who are small as long hall ways and lots of black paint. Some switches not reported. Staff unable to recognise orders at times.

Pleasant
Great location, good price, large room, nice balcony, bar & games available
Uncomfortable beds and pillows, not enough water dispensers, can be noisy, no aircon/poor ventilation

I extended my stay in the in the "Bed in mixed dorm". I rarely stay in hostel because I love my sleep but Dublin is pricey. There were 6 beds and a random bed in the side with no privacy and a sole private bathroom with shower in the room. The room is hot even with the window open. Rooms were decently cleaned. I slept well but I guess it depends who you get in your room. I did check out the men's bathroom on the second floor. They looked cleaned. Avoid the bathrooms in the basement. Those are meant for the party room downstairs. Awesome time! I met some other travelers. There's dj music every night, a bar, food and games. It's a social hostels which aims for the younger adults so probably not for everyone. It's maybe a 20 minute walk to the center but a train takes you there faster.
Get ready to pay for the extra stuff. I arrived early so you need to pay for luggage storage. Checking out early and you want to leave your luggage; you gotta pay. This can be anywhere from €4-8. I traveled to 50 countries and I have yet to pay for a towel until now. It was only €4. My travel adapter has worked everywhere but here. It has to be the silm version. They sell it here for €6. And the lockers in your room for storage needs to have the slim long hook. That's another €6 if yours doesn't work. So, adding up all the extra, is it still worth it? Yes, I would still stay here but with all the extras, you can probably find another place with everything included for cheaper.
I would also suggest for the hostel to put up some curtains on the beds for more privacy. And why are the rooms so hot?

Good
Communal areas and facilities were good alongside the size of the dorms. The staff were also friendly/helpful.
Bathrooms could use some care - nothing dirty however faulty handles on showers and broken soap dispensers.
The rooms (and main body of the hostel) were also incredibly warm.

Pleasant
Good location
Bit of a party hostel, pictures overplay it, bed and dorm uncomfortable and steps to top bunk unsafe and 4 quid for a towel is unfair for renting and bathroom smells

Very Poor
I didn't even stay the second night. I booked a staycity apartment.

I didn't see any room on the website like the one I got. A complete sweat box. Not even room to walk around in it. The worst experience ever. Embarrassing it was when I brought my nephews and nieces to the room. Ruined our weekend only for going elsewhere Sunday night

Cool place
The toiltes were one staircase down and then a 2 min walk. No paper towel next to the sink in the room. Expensive breakfast for 11 euros and only to options for food
