Close to city centre, good parties.
Our room smelled bad and also the coridors smelled like cat urin. We didn’t expect food and drinks to be forbidden in the room and in hanging area. Most of the toilet seats in mens facilities were broken.

Wonderful
The atmosphere of the whole building was just what I was looking for! Meeting new guests from all over the world singing karaoke, playing pool, shuffleboard while having a drink any night made the stay even better. The staff was very polite and helpful at all times of day or night. The facilities were very well kept and exceeded my expectations. Great stay overall!
There is not much I didnt like about my stay. The only minor issue I had was my room smelled of body odor similar to a gym locker room. However I was staying with about 5 or 6 other male guests so I cannot entirely blame that on the lodging. No other issues.

Very Poor
three bunks in one bed, cant even sit up straight (& I am very short)
the price is way too high for the bad facilities, and the location wasnt even central.

The location was excellent. It's a few minutes walk to everything. The staff was nice and very accommodating.
Not a good place for a family. Guest here are very loud, a lot of constant slamming doors and yelling all through the night. People has no regards for others trying to get some rest. If you want a peaceful sleep at night,this is not the place for you. No towels in the room,you have to rent it. The bathroom is borderline nasty.

Party hostel with music going on loud and late. Impossible to get a good sleep on Friday or Saturday. Bonus is drunk and stinky roommates coming back after party

Location was great.
There was no shelves in bathroom to put our things. We got a private room for just our group. It was a hassle to get ready with nowhere to place your bathroom essentials like toothbrush, hair gel, etc. Also one of the lockers couldn’t even be opened due to being too close to the bathroom door. The bathroom has a lot of space to put some shelving, also no electric plugs in the bathroom.

Pleasant
We were right next to the Jameson Distellery. Lots of restaurants near by, and a cool pub down the street called Cobblestone were they play live music. The place does have locker storage for luggage so that was a plus.
I didn't like the room, needs a big time update. The place is full of young people. Looks like a party hotel for the young. Very loud music n very busy.

Having our own room with a bathroom/shower was nice. Can’t complain about having a bed and a roof over our heads.
The no food/drink rules were wacky since the food offered was rediculously expensive. Would have made more sense to just offer a shared kitchen or a cheap breakfast.

Good
For the price I paid, it was pretty decent. It’s easy to check and check out. There’s a nearby Dublin Express station which makes it convenient. Plus, it’s just behind Jameson Distillery!
Rooms can get warm even at night. Additional ventilation would be great to have. The doors also slam quite loud. If you try to close it softly, it won’t close.
