The location was amazing! Close to Trinity College 'Book of Kells' and, a must see, Archaeological Museum. The entry to Fleet Street Hotel is so warmly austere with classic lounging chairs & couches surrounding a generous fireplace. The Irish Breakfast is amazing, and if not included in your booking, is worth €15
Room 107 was a very small non-user friendly room. Thank goodness for a shower mat I only later spied as I had a 'near miss' fall in the slippery tiles of the shower. The 'basic double bed' room was well over $450 & it's the worst in my travels. One night was enough!
It's the location of the Temple Bar district of Fleet Street that incurs the cost. Sadly, Fleet Street was odorous of overnight urination, sadly, a key area for the homeless to gather overnight as a community.
I was booked to spend another 3 nights at the hotel after my 2 weeks in Killarney, but I couldn't spend 3 nights in that 'shoe box', so I was lucky to be able to cancel

It is a charming hotel in the center of the local music. Everything was comfortable, and all the staff welcoming and helpful. A grocery store right across the street.
A bit noisy late at night, but we didn’t mind.

We had a very good stay at The Fleet Hotel in Dublin. The location was perfect and truly couldn’t have been better—we were within walking distance of pretty much everything we wanted to see and do, which made exploring the city incredibly easy. We also really enjoyed the hotel’s reception area, which had a lovely atmosphere and was a great place to relax.
Breakfast was a bit expensive, but we found the selection and quality perfectly satisfactory.

Loved that the bar was open until 3 a.m. (We got in quite late.)
Our bathroom was a bathroom for handicapped people. I'm sure it would've been great if either my wife or I were handicapped but it was not ideal for us. For example: The open shower designed for wheelchairs which simply got water all over the floor. I guess if we had slipped we would've ended up handicapped.

Room overlooked an alley and we heard fighting and cursing and two garbage trucks parked directly under our window. The first around 10pm when we were trying to sleep and the next one at 3am!
