Getting into the room and getting a taxi to the airport.
The room was more than little old, tired, and while roomy it lack charm. The bed was too soft. The shower had no place to hold soap and shampoo. It was clean and quiet; comfortable in temperature. I liked the location although many who I asked about directions did not recognize the location.

We liked the quality of service, the accommodations, and the historic townhouse. The breakfast food and service were excellent too as well as the location.

Wonderful
Once we changed rooms to a larger unit we relaxed. This room - 107- was elegant and historically interesting. Quiet and I felt the price was right.
Our initial room was too small for two people and too noisy (window on the street). Overpriced for this room.

Friendly place. Close to city centre.
In quiet area of the city, but good pubs and cafes nearby.
A little cramped, but to be expected in an old historic building!

Nicely decorated clean and spacious room with a comfy bed in a lovely townhouse. This is in a great location. The staff are super friendly and helpful too. I have had the breakfast before and enjoyed it.

The location was amazing and all the staff were so incredibly nice. One staff gave all our kids chocolate for Christmas. And multiple helped me put on my kid’s coats. So genuinely thoughtful.

Nice breakfast, good location
Asked for room away from noise as possible as I am a light sleeper, was given room next to front door/reception with ground floor window on a busy road junction

The location firstly and then the value for money make this hotel a great place to stay in Dublin 2 , 15 minutes walking distance from Grafton Street and everywhere else worth seeing, the staff on reception could not have been more helpful when i arrived late for check-in, a few decent restaurants nearby a big advantage also
nothing, every thing was good, and other hotels in the area are twice the price,

Awesome location, just a couple blocks from hustle and bustle so nice and quiet but not isolated. Just off the beaten path
Room was very small (it is advertised as small room though)

Cozy, historical house. The room was equipped with free tea, milk and kettle. The location is quiet, within walking distance of Temple Bar and the city center. We had a small history of the house written on a piece of paper - it really felt like going back in time.
From the reservation pictures we though we'd get a double room at the first/second floor, but unfortunately we got a pretty small room below street level. The windows were tiny and little sunlight was actually reaching the room.

The staff were genuinely attentive and eager to please. Breakfast was traditional continental breakfast with made to order options such as pancakes, porridge or the full Irish breakfast - all good ?.
No elevator but that comes with the Georgian style lodging. The staff bought my luggage upstairs for me?

The bed was very comfortable. The sheets crisp and clean. Room was small but efficient. Personnel were very helpful and provided me with a UK/Ireland plug for me to use during my stay. I had to check in at midnight and was very glad someone was there.
I was given a below grounds room, below the street with a window that looked onto steps up to the street. It was quite noisy as the windows are old and do little to insulate the noise of the street and passersby. There was also some steady banging/flapping the second night. I would not have survived without my ear plugs. There was no hook near shower to hang towel and no outlet in the bathroom for a hair dryer--though one was provided.

Poor
The toilet was very clean. Bed was comfy and clean, staff were veey friendly.
The room was very small and very dated, plus it was srreet facing so very noisey. There also is no lift. Wardrobe very small and old and the door kept swinging open. Booked for 2 nights only stayed one.
