Amazing service, the lady at the reception was so nice and warming. Great location and a home like feeling
Nothing at all. Cannot fault the place

Fair
Breakfast was not provided, though there was some cutlery, 2 bowls, 2 plates, 2 mugs, and 2 wine glasses, as well as a cork screw, wooden cutting board, knife to cut bread, and 6 single portions of butter and jam each. The location is great, 8 stops with the 39A bus (one of those running reasonably frequently) to UCD, 4 to RTE, a delicatessen close by which closes at 10 pm, a pub serving dinner (until 8:30!) in walking distance. The microwave worked, there was a French press for coffee and a kettle that also worked. Hot water was reasonably plentiful, both for showering and doing the dishes. There was enough toilet paper. The television worked, and there is an indication that Netflix is available (but I didnt try it). The internet only worked after I complained - I suspect the night porter switched the station on and off, to make it work, but was given the impression that my complaint was unfounded - it worked when they came after 20 mins after all.
The ground coffee must have been a year old or so, the milk was off and corn flakes were unusable - maybe better clear old food? Guests can buy what they need at the Delicatessen anyway. The carpet was a little moist, so I used the extra towels as a "walking road" into bed. The bathroom was mouldy in the shower corner- probably an issue for anyone with asthma, but ok for me. The room ("apartment") No 2 was tiny, and food was on the sink, while dishes were under the sink. Why not fix a narrow wall shelf next to the microwave for food, and create space in the IKEA type shelf for food as well? Also, if you believe you need a bulky A 4 folder for information, provide an extra space on the wall for it in a small space. More hanging space in the small bathroom and a wire shelf for toiletries in the shower, would have been good as there is no space elsewhere (the under-sink space is taken up by the hot water system). There were too many cushions. if you believe your Irish customers want 4 cushions (in addition to 4 in the bed), provide a full cotton (!!) bed throw, so that anyone else can put the cushions on the bed, and sit on the chairs. Hot tip: towels which are not 100% cotton don't dry as well, and this is worse in a bath room which is on the moist side. Also, plastic flowers only clutter a small space!

Great location, very friendly staff, well connected to public transport network. Very good amenities in room (pleasantly surprised by these even), very comfortable.
Cleaning wasn't the best in less obvious places. Lots of dust left on the floor on the window side of the bed, as if just forgotten about for weeks.

The location was great, we used the buses to get into Dublin and the little shops nearby were excellent. Kitchen had been refurbished and was very good. Bed was also very comfortable and plenty of hanging space
Living room was a bit sparse and a lot of noise came through the windows. Bathroom was very old fashioned and a bit difficult for us to shower in the bath ( but that's because of our age)

Poor
was cheated because I booked a hotel, I was shocked when I reicved an email that showed me that I rented personal property for 160. It's not even worth the night for 60. I was very scared
I confirm that booking.com cheated me and rented me this room under the name of the hotel.

Poor
Aside from the front, nothing else was good.
I was majorly disappointed
The room was tiny: you can get a bigger one in holiday inn.
It is marketed as an apartment but really is a small room with a kitchen sink and a microwave.
There is no room to put luggage or unpack clothes and very soon one is tripping up over stuff, trying to find ingenious spots to put down anything that doesnt come with the room.
This is my worst stay in a very long time. I wouldnt have been so disappointed if I hadnt paid so much money! I felt totally ripped off and would very much recommend staying anywhere else.
Dont believe the pictures, they give a false impression.

Good
The location was pretty handy for getting into centre and local restaurants and bars.
The room (not apartment) was fine.
The staff were very nice and very helpful!!
The photos on booking.com make the room look much bigger, but it was very cramped really.
Tge shower didn't work properly, but we were refunded a proportion of cost.
Overall a little disappointing but when you consider cost of accomodation in Dublin, I think we'd consider Donnybrook again if another room was bigger.
