The alarm clock in the room was set to 5am, which was a shock as I'm sure you can imagine.

The bar - great venue, friendly and diligent staff.
The front desk and a 4-stage check-out involving a total of 7 staff and wasting around 45mins of our precious time (queuing not counted in). Worst front desk (compared to brand expectations) in 30+ years of frequent travelling and across 1000+ accommodations. Friends who witnessed the ordeal, as well as those who’ve been hearing about it since, are as flabbergasted as we were by this total failure.

The hotel is in a very good location, just about a 4-minute walk from Grafton Street, which is extremely convenient for exploring the city.
The hotel itself is nice overall, but the staff could be a bit more friendly and welcoming. While everything was generally clean, the bathroom in our room felt somewhat dated and not very modern. The hotel is expensive for what it offers. Considering the price, the overall quality — especially the bathroom and some aspects of the accommodation — could be improved. The restaurant was particularly expensive compared to the quality of food and experience provided.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The attention to detail was brilliant. Breakfast was fantastic,with a wonderful choice of fresh foods. We were celebrating a special occasion, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure it was special.
