What a beautiful historic property. A real treat coming from Canada where there is nothing like this around. Such a grand entrance. Being able to wander around the inside of the property to explore was a real treat.
The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. For the price you pay you expect spotless. The seal in the shower for example needs to be replaced.
With the Canadian dollar/euro exchange rate it is expensive but a real nice short stay.

It was a lovely building. No atmosphere. There was no bar atmosphere. It was very food oriented and full of children. Very disappointed overall. Won't be returning.

The rooms on the renovated floor was really very nice. Artwork and design is gorgeous throughout. Food was excellent and Food service staff was great
The fitness center hasn’t been renovated/re done and it was an enormous disappointment.

The dinner menu at Fareinheight was limited and very weird. I paid top price for Beef Cheek which in USA is a discard food.

Gorgeous property. Good location. Great decor, breakfast. Staff was lovely. If you’re looking for a more classy castle overnight, this was worth it. 25 minutes to Dublin proper by car.
It’s a bit out of Dublin central, if that’s where people want or need to be

Excelllent breakfast
The decor is distasteful - 100 shades of purple. The rooms are shabby and outdated. It is much smaller than imagined and there is a lack of leisure facilities. I complained about our initial room and we were upgraded to a ‘suite’ which was slightly better but still disappointing for the price.

Lovely walks nearby and in a historic setting. Close to a bus stop to take you into the city.
The tv entertainment system was slow and the radio did not work. For the money you pay they should upgrade it to include Netflix etc.
