Wonderful
Quiet room and comfy bed and pillow, one of the best nights sleep I've ever had in a hotel,
Wasn't around much of the hotel and didn't eat or drink, so can't comment

Staff was great and accommodating.
Construction and a heat wave really created terrible room conditions. Hot, dust and cramped, also lack of follow up from the first point of contact. Once we officially checked in, staff was attentive and did what they could to adjust conditions.

Wonderful
Modern, accessible and clean. Self check in is available but the front desk staff was amazing. Lots of tea and coffee supplies in the room.
Some signs of light wear and tear on furniture. Not incredibly close to many restaurants.

Pleasant
The beds and the location
Our overall experience with 200 people for a business convention, we at least expected there would be coffee available the whole day, but there was not, and when we asked for coffee, they said there was not anymore, and they had turned off the machines, not very polite staff, which is not a great experience. There were no cakes or fruit after lunch on Saturday, which is disappointing.
We ate one evening in your restaurant, the food was NOT anything special, I mean, you say 4 star, then you should expect better, the staff in the restaurant were confused in general, as we had booked for 8 people, they hadn't even set the table when we came. My husband is Gluten intolerant (Celiac), and I wrote you 1 month ago. Monday morning, there was nothing other than sandwich bread for him. Your "Spa" was like a public swimming pool, not what we expected.

Comfy bed, great location -walking distance to many things and quiet at night, good water pressure and water heat, excellent staff, nice large rooms, exceptionally clean, great amenities, very nice pool and gym, good food/room service. Many kinds of public transit close by. Daily room freshening service. Loved the free bottled water daily as well as having a fridge, ironing board/iron, safe, coffee maker, tea kettle, and many types of tea, coffee and hot cocoa (and even biscuits!). The robes and slippers were a nice touch!
Pool water and hot tub could be warmer. Shower head makes you stand practically in the drain and is not adjustable. Narrow shower. We never did figure out the tv but didn't need it anyway. The fridge did not get very cold even after adjusting. None of these things are deal breakers, just more of an fyi. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Update 17/2/26- customer service reached out to me after my room and after a phone at a time that suited me the lovely Sandra listened to everything I had experienced, she acknowledged the issues and did not make excuses which I really appreciate. Sandra has given us another nights stay to see if they have made the improvements and standards. We will give the Clayton Cardiff lane another try and review it honestly afterwards. Really hope it give a better review in the future and a big shout out the Sandra she is an asset to their hospitality team.
Review from 8/2/26-Rooms were clean, bed was comfy and was very close to theater.
Review from 8/2/26-Checking in took ages as staff couldn't figure out how to use voucher, kept asking other staff member who would show her but she couldnt do it. Did not understandwhy the other staff member didnt take over to do it. . Technical issue for room keys for whole hotel so they couldn't make any and had to be brought by staff member up to rooms, this again took time as all guests had to be brought up, I can understand these things happen however when given room 315 (deluxe double with balcony) I reported issue with toilet within 20mins and went out to dinner before getting ready for theatre show. When got back asked was room key issue sorted she looked up my room number and made us room keys, so i had to ask had the toilet been fixed.....without checking on computer they said no it couldn't be fixed and would have to move us....this annoyed me as they knew this and wasnt go to say anything. It should have been said straight away before making room key or at least rang us while we were out to let us know as it hindered our plans. Went to 315 to get bags had to wait for staff to come with new room keys (another wait), moved to room executive double room 445 no balcony and not much difference from room 315 to be honest. Rushed to get ready as this inconvenience cost us time for pre theatre drinks. When out staff rang to check if room was okay however mostly silent on phone, very little communication. Also metal barriers all around front of hotel made it look dingy. Didn't use other facilities as to be honest just wanted to check out and leave
All in all it put a cloud over our anniversary night away as it made it rushed throughout the day/evening rather than a relaxing enjoyable stay.

Good
The location of the hotel is excellent, especially if you need to attend a conference at the Dublin Convention Centre. There are also many useful amenities nearby, such as shops, pharmacies, restaurants, and pubs, which made the stay very convenient.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast, which was excellent with a wide variety of choices available every morning. Having an internal restaurant was also a big plus and made the stay even more comfortable and convenient.
Considering this is a 4-star hotel and the price, there were some important things missing. The room did not have a fridge, slippers were not provided, and there was no way to regulate the room temperature, which made the stay less comfortable.
I was also traveling with my 4-month-old baby, and one night she was crying a lot. Unfortunately, the guests in the room next to ours were very rude and yelled at me to calm my baby because they wanted to sleep. It was a stressful and upsetting experience during our stay.

A great value stay on the edge of all the Dublin sights. Small(er) sized but functional rooms, very good staff and customer service above and beyond. A solid and inexpensive option not in but near the heart of the city. There was free bottled water in the room.
Nothing major to be honest but a few items I'd prefer.
Water seems all hot or warm, I was unable to get cold water out of the faucet.
Lacks a refrigerator and the closet is a bit small and open, no coffee station, desk shared as a TV stand.
There were no washcloths and no luggage rack in the room.

Well appointed hotel with convenient restaurant and bar on site. Decent location. Very comfortable bed and spacious room. Minifridge and coffeemaker/tea kettle. Nice linens and bathrobes!
Construction noise outside, no view and no way to ventilate room. No clock or decent bathroom light for make-up/shaving. No place to plug hairdryer in bathroom.

I loved how the gym/pool staff were so accommodating to my son who had bad anxiety.
The beds were on wheels. If you even brushed off it, it moved, then moving in the bed at night, the bed would shift out of position and the pillow would fall down the gap.

Pleasant check in. Very helpful receptionist.
Breakfast excellent but you are paying for it as the cost for bed and breakfast was on the high side for a family.
Ordered drinks at bar ..Staff were a bit slow. Sometimes couldn't be bothered accommodating what we requested.
Food in restaurant beautiful but pricey.
