Fair
Staff were very friendly. Parking and proximity to Liffey valley are decent.
€10 for parking for residents is ridiculous. Couldn’t find staff to order hot breakfast from. Was placed in a room with adjoining rooms and had to listen to someone clearing their throat all night. At least I think it was coming from the adjoining room such was the volume. The pool was packed with swimming lessons and is very dark with pool lights not working. This made the water look quite dirty and the changing rooms are absolutely disgusting. The makeshift benches cut my son’s leg as the edges are sharp. No locks on the lockers as they’re all broken. It speaks volumes when the staff ask you to leave your phone with them at reception. A lot of long term residents loitering about.

Good bar
Older facility. No A/C. No soundproofing around door of room allowing noise from hallway and other guests all through the night.

Dinner was nice
Kept up all night by hallway activity, usually drunk people. Room had no air conditioning so was too warm. Breakfast was poor and expensive..

Fair
Breakfast was fair, very busy on the morning we were there so a bit manic at times .but decent food..
I'd booked a room for 3..only towels bottled water and tea coffee for 2 people, but we arrived late after being at a wedding so I didn't complain as it was so late..but staff were pleasant on the desk anytime I spoke to them..

Good
Very good location as it is close to the shopping centre. Rooms were comfortable and clean.
Seemed to be understaffed in the bar/restaurant. Took a while to get served. The staff in the bar/restaurant were very nice and attentive.
The hairdryer in our room was completely unsuitable for use and should be replaced. My daughter got her hair caught in it, because there was no cover on the air inlet part and we had no other option but to cut out a big chunk of her hair in order to get it out of the hairdryer.

Good
Bed, stay, room itself. Staff was friendly.
Had no heat in the room - would not heat up. Window was open at the top and did not know so sounded like a leak in window. Did not realize until next day. Bag dropped off from airline. It was set in different room than the one they showed me, so I did not get it until a full day and 1/2 later. Luckily I had packed one additional set of clothes.

Poor
Nice location
Me and my family went for the night to get away we pushed the beds together and the dirt was disgraceful the vent was black with dirt and the curtain was like someone wiped there sh*t on it not happy about this as we couldn’t let our 2 two year old twin girls down to play after with what we saw I’ve made a complaint never heard back and for 200 euro I was very disappointed I have photos if someone would get back to me thanks

Disappointing
Hotel was nice.
Bar staff had no clue what they were doing and very slow, yet the price of drink is the most I've paid in any hotel. €9 for a small bowl of soup. Had to ask for a knife and napkins. Other food portions were very small but prices were high. We ate in the restaurant, and food came out in bits and pieces. We had half the food out before the wine came. Our pizza was gone before we got our chips.
For the prices you were paying, you expected top-class service and food. So it was very disappointing. I stayed in the Castleknock Hotel recently and got a much better deal and way better service.
It's a bit of a joke to pay nearly €300 for a room for 1 night and then be charged €10 to park your car.
For a Saturday night, 4 weeks before, you would think they'd have a bit of music for a jammed packed hotel.

Easy to get to
The games room on the ground floor accepted our money but did not work.
No signs up, to say thins dont work. i.e. air-hockey table took our money, not puck and no sign to say it not working. but still took our money. That was just 1 example.

Good
The location is very good. Housekeeping requires quite a bit of improvement. Standard breakfast, no change. We get bored eating the same thing during a long stay. Front office is quite helpful and fast enough to attend to requests
Access to water, room cleaning, breakfast menu, Veg options in the restaurant
