Location
Breakfast was below average. Worst apple and organe juice i have ever tasted. And then charge €18 for it.
Very bad smell in the breakfast room

Water in the pool was dirty
Carpet in room was filthy
After pairing plenty for the room they have the cheek to charge €12 a night to park.. worst hotel i was in and unfortunately won't be returning there.

Very conveniently located for shops and restaurants meaning there was no need to drive.
Friendly helpful staff, great pool and spa.
Filtered water machine in lobby and small fridge in room
Breakfast buffet busy and disorganised.
Buffet area smelt of sewage which the staff admitted to there being a problem with pipework. Whilst not affecting the hygiene of food it was nonetheless very unpleasant and off putting.
Room hadn’t been cleaned properly- urine stains on toilet seat.
The family room we stayed in on the 4th floor was incredibly stuffy and hot even with the bedroom window open permanently as far as it would go. No extractor fan in the bathroom (or if there was it was not functioning). Made sleeping very uncomfortable.
There is an electronic paperless check in and check out available, so it is possible to check in without any interaction with staff. However who ever came up with this bright idea, then forgot to provide guests with other essential information (wifi password, pool times, breakfast times, check out times etc etc). So we still had to queue at reception to get this information as there was nothing in the room to inform us or on check in.

Fan wasn't working in bathroom and cleaning staff left their tools outside of my bedroom door before my check out.I was still in a,room and was,surprised they want clean a,room so early before my xheck out time.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley. The amenities were good and the facilities met our expectations. The food was fine, with a reasonable selection and decent quality.
Unfortunately, our experience was let down by the staff, as we found the service disappointing at times. We were also concerned about the cleanliness of some of the plates and drinking glasses in the dining area, which did not meet the standard we expected. We hope these issues are addressed, as the hotel has good facilities and the potential to provide a much better guest experience.

I always go to this hotel whenever I visit Dublin! It’s always the go to no matter what. I love the location and the staff.
I got my room first and it was on the ground floor the balcony door was broken and the couch was all cut up couldn’t even sit on it stains on the kitchen and bed sheets looked like they were already slept in. Then asked for a different room upstairs in the apartment suites and the internet didn’t work on both the televisions. Only had 1 fork in the drawers and plates had stains on them.
