The location is good but quite intimidating when walking into town with all the down and outs on the streets, the authority should do something worse than other cities I've being in

Definately a hotel with character, nicely decorated. Also super friendly and professional staff! Super breakfast and lovely music performances.
Nightly rate was quite high, due to time of year. Other hotels same challenge.

Location was good. Staff was very pleasant and accomodating. Evening music was good.
Rooms were shabby and not clean. Stayed at Holiday Inn Express around the block for one night a week before. It was cleaner, staff was just as pleasant, food was close to comparable and was significantly less expensive.

Wonderful
The staff were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. They even prepared a take away breakfast the morning that we left for an early flight. The hotel owner was greeting guests on one of the mornings that we were there. You don’t get that in many hotels these days. A highlight was the free live music each night in the restaurant. We were disappointed that we didn’t get to see the dancing on the weekend.

They have an Irish music and dance show in the restaurant on Friday night. It is of a high calibre. The food and service were great and the prices low. The hotel is full of history and charm. It is conveniently located.

We loved our room!! The front desk was incredible, they were quick to respond and super kind. We really enjoyed being able to go down to the basement for drinks and food. The food was great! As was the staff. We also got to meet the owner of the hotel and he was absolutely lovely. Great atmosphere there. We loved it. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
Coming from Canada the parking was very tight and nerve wracking! It might help to have a heads up before people make their decision to rent a car. We managed it just fine :) but some people might not be able to. We also were not positive what to do when we first got there, and got lucky that someone opened the gate for us to go into the parking lot. I wonder if you could have valets to help people out.

We loved staying at this hotel. We got a very good deal on our twin room; the excellent breakfast set us up for the day; and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
It was great to stay in a hotel with real character.
There wasn't really anything we didn't like. Our room wasn't huge, but it was quite adequate, and very good value for such a central location.

Very good staff friendly and helpful. The location is very handy.
The room was very noisy and bathroom could have been cleaner. Although the food was lovely there was a lot of confusion about glutten free items. For example the pavlova we were told had glutten in it. However again the staff tried their best to accommodate the glutten free issue.
