Location was great, close enough to be walkable to all the bars and main historical sites including Guinness Storehouse and Temple Bar, and shopping area. Excellent breakfast and reasonable menu for an evening meal.
The service at meal time was a little hit and miss, but the staff were polite and accommodating. Some of the room fixtures and fittings were requiring replace or repair, double glazed window furniture for example.

I loved the proximity to good restos, laundry and shops. And the breakfast was outstanding!
I found two raw tomatoes in the bathroom that had rolled by the pipe and a nail clipping on the floor.
I'm glad I found the tomatoes because who knows how long they would have stayed there?

Ideally situated in central Dublin- v.comfortable. Very close to bus stops to College Green and Temple Bar.

It had lots of personality, very quaint and a bit quirky. The owner was on premises and a lovely man. They offer live music every night which was a fantastic feature!
Our room had an “accessible bathroom”, which we did not need, so there were not conventional conveniences.

The room was super spacious and not too far of a walk from downtown and easily accessible from airport and highways. The breakfast and dinner areas were nice. The seating areas throughout the hotel to sit, socialize, read books, and or play board games that were available, was a nice opportunity.
Tripping on the carpets throughout the hotel, which could be helped by more clear, identification and changes of steps or smoothing some surfaces. At dinner be extremely long way to get food then as well trying to pay. The wait staff was not very attentive and it was not busy.

Breakfast was excellent. The evening meal and entertainment we had on Thurs were also excellent. The hotel room was comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful. The location is perfect being only a 20-min walk to the city sites.
The hotel's secure parking is very tight and limited. There was no mention on booking.com about the parking limitations or the fact that it was an extra charge.

Our recent stay was, overall, a pleasant experience, largely thanks to its undeniable charm. From the moment we arrived, the hotel exuded a lovely, inviting atmosphere that felt both historic and welcoming. This charm extended beautifully to our room, which was tastefully decorated and had a cozy, unique character that we truly appreciated.
The personnel were consistently nice and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. They were always ready with a smile and went out of their way to assist us with any requests or questions, which significantly enhanced our comfort.
On a less positive note, there were a couple of minor issues that impacted our stay. The water pressure in the shower was quite low, and we frequently experienced inconsistent water temperatures, with the water often swinging between very hot and super cold. Additionally, as is sometimes the case with older buildings, the rooms were not very soundproof. We could easily hear conversations from the next room and the general goings-on outside, which occasionally disturbed our peace.
