The location was brilliant, the room was a good size and comfortable beds. Choices of breakfast were fabulous.
The shower had no pressure or much warmth. The fact that we had a room numbered 407, caught the lift to the 3rd floor then proceeded to go down 7 steps through a door then down another 5 steps through a narrow corridor and door down one more step and there she was. It was rather awkward carrying travelling suitcases.

Beautiful old traditional style hotel, lots of beautiful old furniture and rooms to explore. Lovely choice of breakfast. Hotel is very clean, friendly staff, great entertainment, perfect location. Would highly recommend
A safe in the room would be a helpful addition, and more hangers in the wardrobe.

Wonderful
Nice airy room and comfortable bed. Good breakfast and we ate twice in the restaurant and enjoyed the food and the folk music! Tasteful decor and period furniture with various lounges to sit in .
Shower lacked a separate hand held attachment and there was nowhere to put anything down in the bathroom.

Internet was awful not possible to connect a lot of time. Complained but nothing improved
Noise next door until 1.30 am but impossible to contact reception by room phone. Receptionist not really interested.
No fridge in room warm bottled water in cardboard container only.

My room had no heat. I reported it 4 times to the front desk. Each time they said they would get it resolved. There was still no heat when I left. The bathroom was so cold I could not use the shower.

Breakfast was awesome with the continental upstairs and full breakfast downstairs.Fresh and yummy and lots of selections. The staff is amazing.
It's an old hotel, dingy and rickety and not in the best neighborhood.

We arrived on Friday afternoon on 6th June.
When We booked the price quoted was £700 but when we checked in, we were told that it is now 725..08 due to the difference in exchange rate. We were very surprised but had no choice.
The room given was inconvenient to approach, very far from lifts and with steps down. We were unable to drag our trolly suitcases anymore on the staircase. At our request, another toom was given, which was very small and shabby. We wasted a lot of valuable time in sorting out our room and accepted the 3rd shown as we were very tired, having travelled from Clairemoris. This room was very basic and rather small for twin beds. There were no tissue boxes provided. No decaf coffee sachet either.
It was certainly not value for money.
The staff were not very helpful. The hotel description on booking.com showed Irish dances on Friday and Saturday. We asked the receptionist Cynthia, who told us that Irish dances are only on Saturday. This was not correct as the receptionist Owen the next day told us that Irish dances did take place on Friday night as usual. We were not informed that we need to reserve a table so the next day, Saturday, when we went to the dining area where dances take place, we were told we can't sit there as we had no reservation.
The room was not cleaned daily. We could see from dirty carpets. They only changed towels and made beds.
Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

The location was very good, as was breakfast.
Room was a reasonable size.
A hotel spread over three original old houses at different levels, hence a lot of stairs. There is a lift which is a bit temperamental and had to carry suitcases up two flights of stairs! There is no furniture to put suitcases on to unpack

I liked how clean the hotel was and how central to the city it was also the Receptionist when we checked in was lovely and very friendly.
I didnt like the bed I thought it was uncomfortable, also our room was right bedside a cleaning closet which we were not informed bout and from early morning the noise and banging right outide our door was annoying.

Good location near the top of O'Connell Street. Live music every evening. Good full Irish breakfast. Comfortable bed. Well equipped room, with desk. Good shower. Good WiFi.
Shower took a couple of minutes to get up to heat.

Right in the centre of the City and a short walk to O’Connell Street and access to shopping and key sights and sounds. Staff were very courteous and welcoming. Loved having live music in the evenings.
Tricky manoeuvre getting to our room with stairs, slopes and doors making our luggage trek back and forth cumbersome and awkward.
