The beds were super comfortable and the shower gel smelled lovely. It's very well located and we were able to leave our bags and spend the day without carrying their weight around which was nice.
This hotel is such a maze, we actually got lost a couple of times getting to our room! Walking up to the hotel from the city center, we bumped into quite a few homeless/drunk/smelly people. The view from the window was rather gloomy and loud at night from people being drunk .

Very small room with a child size bathroom. It was on the ground floor with a view directly on the car park. Room was always cold even with the heat on. This was not a 4 star hotel room

What I liked most about Cassidys is its location. The hotel is very central and it is near the most important tram stops and the bus to the airport. I also appreciated the in-house restaurant, which was excellent for a Fall visit, when it's too cold to go outside to go search for a restaurant. I liked the size of the room. It's somewhat big and very comfortable. I also liked the Rituals toiletries in the bathroom. The hot water heated up very quickly, which I appreciated as well. Lastly, I appreciated the two jugs of water in my room.
I didn't like the flush mechanism for the toilet. You have to push the button really hard for it to flush and it frustrated me. I also felt like the flushing power was not strong enough. The bathrooms at the National Gallery of Ireland have the same type of flat-push flusher, but theirs is very easy to flush. The ones at Cassidys are probably an older model that needs to be changed. Also, whenever I was in my room, I developed a really strange hacking cough. I don't know if my room had unseen mold in it, or if something was wrong with the air quality. But the cough was painful and uncomfortable and it only happened when I was in the room. Moreover, I appreciated the housekeeper's cleaning. But she left my window opened when she was finished. She probably opened the windows to air the room, which was considerate. But the window should have been closed again. As a result, when I came back to my room at night, it was really freezing. It didn't occur to me that my window was left opened until I checked. I tried to increase the heat of the thermostat, but it was fixed at a certain degree.

Location for us, was the most important thing and Cassidy's was just perfect for us.
The staff were very friendly particularly the evening bar food staff and tge breakfast staff.

We didn’t stay for long; but it was an absolutely beautiful property. The staff were very kind and very accommodating. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage with the hotel until our room was ready. The property is in a great part of the city; so we just walked everywhere. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Me and my wife would definitely stay again.

Lovely, comfortable room and modern bathroom. Very much appreciated tea, Nespresso, water in room. Nice pub/restaurant on site. Central location. Lots of restaurants, shops nearby. Only stayed one night. 15-30 minute walk to popular sights - Temple Bar, Trinity College - Book of Kells, St. Stephen’s Green, museums, etc. which was great with our nice, sunny weather (mom stayed behind). Lots of other transportation options nearby - public bus, tour bus, rail, taxi.
Several steps to enter hotel which was difficult for us with luggage and elderly mother, no ramp. Also room rate didn’t include breakfast.
