The central, boutique-style Cassidys Hotel has a bar, bistro, and a restaurant . It is located at the top of O'Connell Street, opposite Gate Theater. The 3 Georgian town houses are a 10-minute walk from Trinity College, a variety of shops, and Dublin's nightlife at Temple Bar. Cassidys has a relaxed restaurant, furnished with rich mahogany paneling and leather seating. It serves modern Irish cuisine, and traditional breakfasts are also served each morning. The receptionist was helpful, room and facilities no complaints at all. Only stayed for a one night trip, but I will stay here again when I visit for longer.

Location was very good great walking distance to city centre
We thought we had booked a package including breakfast on line through booking.com but on arrival we found this wasn’t the case.

The room was fine but a bit small. The extra bed took up space that we would otherwise have used.
We would have liked to have a good light in the room. It was impossible to read as the room was so dark.

Wonderful
Evan (?) and his colleagues at the front at the front desk were so helpful and welcoming. The hotel was already fabulous, but the staff really made it stand out.
Unfortunately, the room was very very warm, even with the radiator turned down, which wasn't to my personal taste.

Breakfast a little unimaginative. Some front desk desk - especially a thin older man with white hair - need training in warm and welcoming communication. He seemed angry dour and forbidding! Other staff were lovely though.
