Heavenly beds, very friendly staff, quiet room and great location.
No mirror in bedroom to do hair/make-up. Was given key to another room to do this which was not ideal. Was told that they would look into getting a mirror but nothing ever happened.
You definitely miss the warm welcome, the witty banter and encyclopaedic knowledge of Dublin from Connor the concierge who was there for so many years. He knew the customers by their first name. A big loss.
One of the treats at Brooks was getting breakfast served to you at the table freshly made. Breakfast now self service, heated up under cloches. So we went out for breakfast.
I would prefer a kettle in the room for boiling water to make tea instead of using the hot water option on the Nespresso machine which doubles as coffee machine and kettle. The hot water comes out in a trickle and is not hot. I would prefer larger mugs.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel look beautiful decorated for Christmas.
Everything was spotless.
The coffee machine in the room is lovely. The towels are so soft and fluffy.
Room is very small. I could not because of where the sockets are placed dry my hair and look in a mirror.
The water pressure wasn't great.

Room. Location. Bar and particularly friendliness of Roger in bar.
The girl on check-in was in my opinion curt. This should not be the first person you meet at this hotel or any hotel on checking. It sets a bad vibe/feeling for the customer.

Staff very friendly and helpful upon arrival. We arrived before 3pm which is check in time but staff very kindly made our 2 rooms ready sooner which was wonderful.
Rooms very clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was nice , good selection. However had to ask for plates to be removed from table so it got a but cramped at times with 4 of us having breakfast.
The bar area very nice. Superb barmen, particularly Roger who was very attentive and had a lovely cheeky personality. Nothing was too much trouble.
Over all , a very pleasant stay and will return again one day.
There is a car park opposite which was perfect and only 20 euros for overnight stay.
The location was perfect and a very short walk to gaiety theatre and Stephens green shopping centre.
