The room is a good size, the bed is comfortable, the linen is super good. The breakfast is plentiful, with a wide selection.
The location of the hotel is good, halfway between the airport and the city center, with great public transportation.
The room was cold, the television didn't work properly. There was only one elevator, which was not enough for so many guests. The furniture and carpets in the common areas are dirty, the hotel could do with a thorough renovation.
Overall, this quality is not adequate for a four-star hotel.

Disappointing
the staff in the bar were very friendly, beds were comfy
the staff on arrival and departure were not friendly or enthusiastic what’s so ever. they didn’t smile or greet us at any part of our stay. we felt lost in the hotel as it was our first time in dublin and had spent a lot of money to stay in this hotel. definitely not a 4 star hotel. we were on the fourth floor and on the top of the hallway there was a massive leak where the ground was soaked and roof from above looked like it was going to fall through. this created a horrible smell which made us feel sick to the stomach.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were comfortable. Although the hotel shows some signs of age in certain areas, overall it was a good stay, aside from the issues I mentioned in my review.
Unfortunately, the restaurant experience was very disappointing. Our salad and drinks were forgotten, and even after asking twice, no apology was offered. The cocktails were poorly made, and overall the service did not justify the cost. One server walked past our table multiple times without noticing that we still hadn’t received our drinks—even after we had already finished our meal. At one point she even said, ‘the drinks will be out in a minute,’ but they never arrived.
The room was also misrepresented. The description promised a city view, but instead we were facing a rooftop scattered with garbage. While the trees outside helped soften the view, it was most definitely not a city view as advertised, which felt misleading.
Another downside was the pool policy—guests are required to purchase a swim cap for €3 in order to use it. For a four-star hotel, it would make much more sense to provide disposable caps rather than charging guests for something so basic.
Finally, the main lobby seating had visible stains. For a four-star hotel, it’s unacceptable not to maintain clean seating in such a central area.

The hotel is a little out of town, but easy access to Dublin city via buses. Although the rooms are a bit dated, they are comfortable. The price seemed a bit high but I understand that the costs of hotels in Dublin have gone through the roof. The bar and restaurant was nice, and they provided a good buffet breakfast. We did not partake in the pool facilities so cannot comment on those.
Seem to be a lot of confusion at the front desk. The first day we arrived back from our tour ours was the only room key not included in the group. We arranged, and confirmed we had the room for a second night, but when we arrived back after a long day our room keys had been deactivated. Just meant going back downstairs, but with one elevator out of service, it was at bit of an inconvenience that could have been avoid.

The hotel is very suitable for visiting the city. Parking is no problem which is great.
I was very disappointed with the dinner during our stay. It was beef on a bone and it was mostly fat with bits of chewy beef. I told the waitress but she just said sorry and walked away.

Disappointing
The bar was ok
The bar staff were very friendly and helpful
The location of the hotel was great
The rooms were big
Furniture very very dated and old
The bath would fit a child comfortably or an adult size 10 or below
There were issues with noise control and noise from old pipes
The manager ( female) was not interested in resolving the issue - unless you were male- she was quite rude
Be careful
This is not in opinion a 4 star hotel
Due to the noise - the walls seemed paper thin- I requested ear plugs - they could not provide these
There are obvious area where repairs to the actual structure of the interior walls is needed
This on my opinion is a 3 star hotel

Pleasant
The gym and pool were good, and the staff were great. Room was comfortable. When we arrived our toilet didn’t flush but they got it working pretty quickly.
The place was a little shabby and in need of redecoration, especially the carpets. Same for the pool area, just a little tired looking and steam room was out of order

Exceptional
The Hotel was able to accommodate our request for our first night's accommodation to remain the same for the two additional nights that were a part of our bus tour. We did request a room with a shower - not in a bath - but we were consequently given an accessibility room - not quite the same thing! However, we were able to work around it.
Spacious room for 3 nights stay.
Also, twin beds situated between fixed bedside tables doesn't leave enough space between beds for friends who would like a bigger gap.
The venue has number of eating places - both food & service excellent.
A reception staff member very helpful with my computer wifi issue. Also, Staff very helpful with advice regarding local bus to the city, and its attractions.
Having the little store next door where bus tickets etc could be purchased, was very convenient.
My travelling companion enjoyed the breakfast.
Only the lack of space between the twin beds.
And a room with shower - not being an accessibility room.
Thank you for your information!
