The Reasturant had nice food
No air con or any air flow of any kind in the room, the window was painted sealed shut so had two nights of being hot and stuffy. The building looked like it was about to fall down. Fire alarm went off during our meal on the first night then went off intermittently keeping us awake from 1.45am until 6.30am when we had to get up.. literally had no sleep all night. Staff admitted the fire alarm has been playing up. I have no idea how this hotel has kept its 4* rating…. The pool pictures are quite honestly the worst kind of mid sales I’ve ever seen, the spa area looks nothing like the images on the adverts, as in they’ve actually used different images to what is actually on site.

Quiet, and comfortable enough.
Carpets need deep cleaning. Bathroom tiles need re grouting ( black mould in spots) ,chair in our room needed reupholstered.. Air quality and supply were good.. The.carpets might actually look worse than they are...but they drag the place down a lot. .Pleasant staff were dealing with a power cytwhen we arrived. They remained calm.and helpful.. Wish the place well . Only 5 miinutes from Dublin port ferries.

Room’s spacious and comfortable bed, food in restaurants was very good, and leisure centre great. Not in the city but good bus service.
Rooms Very hot and stuffy - no aircon and windows didn’t open. Fridge in room broken and not replaced. Signs everywhere saying not to bring in outside food and drinks!

Rooms were clean and it was handy to the airport
Claims to be 4* but can’t get the basics right. No water in the room?! The shower went from ice cold to boiling hot every 20 seconds. The rooms and decor are outdated and in many parts damaged. The waiting service from one person in particular felt aggressive in the Crofts bar, essentially shouting at us to order and rushing along.

Staff were lovely, restaurant/pub very very good food.
Hotel is tired, carpets,windows, curtains very very dirty, lifts don't work! Needs a lot of TLC more a 2 star than the declared 4 star. Its a pity to see this lovely building decline.
