Lovely hotel with lovely staff.
Beds were uncomfortable and there were 2 springs gone in the mattress, there was no phone in the room to ring down to reception and rooms were extremely stuffy with no option of a fan.

After an early morning flight the staff kindly checked us in early. They assigned us a family sized room so having lots of space was great. The bathroom was plush, clean and equipped with full sized bottle amenities. The pub Croft is cosy and food is nice. Location good because it’s half way between Dublin airport and the city centre.
The outside of the hotel is old and when we arrived we weren’t sure if it was even an hotel from the look though the inside is a lot nicer. The pub is lovely but their kitchen closes at 21:00 we arrived at 21:05 and was very disappointed especially given the fact that there isn’t any restaurants nearby the hotel. The blonde lady working in the hotel was very kind she tried her best to do something for us and recommended other options to get food ie deliveroo, thanks to her we managed to eat something. The reception staff aren’t the most friendliest in particular the young girl with brown hair who doesn’t smile or seem interested in assisting guests, very cold. The room is mostly ok but stains on carpet, old shabby net curtains and the bed base having stains makes it feel like there is no care or attention to detail. Given the fact that this hotel is rated 4 stars it should live up to that.

Further from all of the things you want to do in Dublin. With traffic…the average taxi/uber was 25-30 min

Great hotel, the accompanying restaurant food was really good. I stayed here most nights for food it was that good, I had most of the menu. The leisure centre on the back of the hotel was amazing, having a full gym and spa facility is really good and the staff in the gym were amazing and friendly. I was in the gym pretty much every evening, what a great way to wind down. I didn't have breakfast as €20 per day was expensive for a bowl of cereal, I managed to get some fruit from the shop next door, so I was fine for breakfast. Location for public transport into Dublin was great and there are various other restaurants and supermarkets close by. I would stay here again!
Hotel is a little warn, could do with some refreshes here and there, for instance, the carpet in my room didn't fit to the wall, some strange things that need fixing, just showing a little age here and there. It was even more expensive to have breakfast included with the room rate than having it per day, something I noticed when booking, even though I didn't have breakfast there, this is one of the reasons I didn't have it.

Location, comfy bed, helpful receptionist, parking.
Very expensive for what you get, poor rude service at breakfast, a lot of the food had run out by 10:10 and we were told that we shouldn't have come down so late, despite breakfast service ending at 10:30. If service ends at 10:30 all the food should be available until then!
