Very Poor
Wrooms are We booked two rooms for a two-night family stay. Unfortunately, both rooms had a bad smell, and the carpets were dirty and emitted a strong odor. We couldn’t stop coughing the entire time we were in the rooms. Additionally, the floor was very noisy, with constant door slamming. Overall, we were extremely disappointed and will never book with this hotel again.

Doors were jammed and not able to open. It was not sound proof. Could hear the doors slamming. Not enough towels and toilet rolls. No free flow of water in bath. not clean rooms. Stained Iron Box which destroyed our white shirts.

I felt the pillows were very hard and compact until I remembered there might be spare pillows in the wardrobe. There were indeed, but these might have been a bit on the flat side for a lot of people. Something more "middle of the road" might have been more suitable

Large hotel good spacious rooms 2 big double beds in our room, was given cot on request. breakfast included and was good choice and tasted lovely. Got a family meal offer for dinner food and service were good. Aldi just across the road is very handy. Tea coffee and biscuits in room and also water. was down for an overnight stay to go to dublin zoo. Handy to get to the zoo by car. Good value for money would defo recommend and stay again.

We art here regularly as it’s close to family and it’s very convenient for the village and to get o to the main roads to nearby areas and to/from Airport.
The staff are always very friendly.
We wish we had asked for a room overlooking the car park as we had a room by the road and it was too noisy to have the window open and then the room was too warm.
The room we were given had eroded enamel in the bath, fine for showering but put us off having an actual bath which would have been nice to relax.
The room itself was large with handy extras like an iron and board but would have preferred a larger bed, there’s definitely space for a king or superking.

Disappointing
Room size and location.
In all honestly we were very disappointed with our stay. Main issues - we found the bed not that comfortable. Slept on top of the duvet for extra padding but still not great.
Had to keep window closed because of traffic noise so very warm and asked for a fan. Took asking 3 different staff to get one the 2nd night as 1st night was told they don’t have any.
There was so much noise in the corridor from doors slamming, not just once or twice which is understandable but constantly! We spoke to cleaners to keep the noise down but it didn’t help. I think other guests just slamming doors too and obviously can’t ask everyone to be gentle with their doors.
The hot breakfast was not enjoyable, asked for an omelette but was not allowed even though eggs were being fried? Vegan choices not great - bland mushrooms, a tomato, beans and a slimy hasbrown. Sadly didn’t enjoy the coffee from the machine so went to the red bean roastery which is boasted about on the website, but was a lot of trouble! First a cleaner told us was not open until 11am, then front desk kept saying to use coffee machines in breakfast room, which had to keep explaining didn’t enjoy. Then they said the roastery opens at 12pm, not 11am but will make one now (approx 11.10am) It just seemed so much trouble for a decent coffee. (All that fuss and didn’t enjoy either!)
I did find a bug on my pillow (looked like a silver fish), only see 1 thankfully. Cleanliness okay other than that.
Overall, really unhappy, probably wouldn’t come back. Such a shame as room size was good and location great for visiting family who live local.
