Second time in Dublin, second time at Beresford Hotel. Great breakfast, best position.
The staff at the front desk was great, especially Robert.

Staing in this hotel was great. The hotel has a perfect location close to main historical and other sightseeing objects. And what is more there is the bus stop number 782 , that goes diractly to airport( 25 minutes).
The staff was helpful and recommand me THE CELT pub( very close to the hotel)with excellent guitar player & singer( every evening) with delicious food & drinks.
It will be better to have small fridge, if it's possible. Thanks.

Very Good
Room was bigger than some people’s homes. Bed was huge and comfortable. The furniture was antiques but still fitted the old style of the room. We were in the old section of the hotel. Bathroom was modern and updated. So convenient to train and bus and tram plus five minutes you were near the centre. Right near EPIC museum.
Due to being in the old section we had no lifts except to first floor of new section then it was a rabbit warren of turns and short stairs going down then up then more turns. It was easy to find but with large suitcases a pain.

Pleasant
Room was comfortable.
Drug use and homeless drunks right out the front door, despite it being across from the police station.

Good
Everything was clean and bed comfortable.
There is a defect in the windows, meaning they were not completely sealed. Consequently, we can hear the ventilation and the tram passing by. (See the uploaded pictures.)

Good
Close to bus, trolley and shuttle to the airport. The EPIC center and the Liffey River are an easy walk away. Breakfast and breakfast room were great. Staff gave me directions and answered my questions about the surrounding area.
Location is a bit sketchy (for a country girl), comfortable during the day to walk around and explore. Room was basic...clean with a stain (or burn) on the aged carpet. Part of the building reminded me of an old boarding house (where I stayed) with stairs and hallways all over. The floors were squeaky (old wood) and people above me were out late and up early

Fair
Staff, especially Robert, were amazing. In the centre of town, easy to get to the bus and trams. Breakfast was well cooked and evening meals were very tasty.
Its opposite a Police station and they let the drunks out to sit in front of the hotel. My room was very hot - they know this as there was already a standing fan in the room, but had a tiny window opening so no air circulated. The window opens onto an alley with another hostel in it - people from the hostal were basically outside the window all night, every night, smoking, including smoking illegal drugs and shouting. Breakfast was a bit limited.
