The Location is great, in the very centre and close to many atttactions. Robert - reception manager was extremely helpful, friendly and gives great advices on local places you can visit, where to eat and similar things. It was an amazing experience. The hall for the breakfast is very nice and interesting. Breakfast is very good.

There was an air railway right next to the hotel and trains were passing by very near all of the time. The windows of the room were old with no noise cancellation so we had to listen to them all of the time even at night.

Great location, friendly staff, nice lobby, clean rooms.
Good sized rooms, comfy beds.
Would be great to have a mini fridge in the room.
We had bought some water and had left it in the room, by the time we came back it was the temperature of tea. Safe felt cheap, bath with overhead shower looked a bit cheap / almost old and we were in the newly refurbed rooms.

Friendly staff. Clean room
A mile walk to the room! No fan, a fan would be handy as the rooms are always really warm

Wonderful
The breakfast is GREAT and my god the shower.... I'm pretty sure I don't have a single dead skin cell on my body and that's AMAZING.... bed was comfy, room was a decent size and you can't beat how handy is it from the train station!.....
...... It's legit not the fault of the hotel but my days the noise of the trams and trains... I'm lucky that I can sleep through anything but my wife tossed and turned a bit... If you like city noise or a heavy sleeper then rock on but if you don't definitely bring ear plugs or something similar! It's not deafening by any means and I coped fine... But it's more a warning that it can be a bit noisier... More to love than hate though by far!

Clean and close to the city center. Great starting point for exploring Dublin. Shops and restaurants in walking distance.
The room was very noisy. It’s an old building so a bit of creaking is expected. However, we could hear every move from the neighbors. The windows are not sound insulated so you can hear the surrounding city noise (trains, pubs, seagulls). It was the worst nights sleep I’ve ever gotten in a hotel. In this price range better sound insulation is to be expected

Poor
The location
The noise, especially Sunday night with people outside arguing into the early hours of the morning. Plus noise with vehicles etc. Monday morning and we were about to leave the room to go for breakfast, a staff member arrived and she said she would come back in 10 mins. We arrived back at 1:20pm and the room still wasn't done. We were exhausted because of the night before and went to bed and both of us fell into a deep sleep then at 2pm the door knocked and it was the woman to clean the room etc. we waited outside the front of the hotel and after 15 to 20 minutes I thought they must be finished by now, so I went back up to the room and it still wasn't done. So I asked them to do the room then they asked me to leave again. By this stage I was totally fed up and said no and told them not to do the bed just the bathroom and leave some milk for tea.
Monday night wasn't as bad with the noise level outside. However the room desperately needs tripple glazing to kill the noise level outside.
