Beautifully presented home with lovely warm welcome. Room self contained with everything you needed, very comfortable. 4/5 minute walk from main road plentiful buses going into city centre in only 15 mins.

Our host was really supportive and check in was quite easy and quick. The location is easyly accessed from both the city and the airport and still very quiet.
The top room is rather hot but manageable.

Wonderful
Avoca House is a large property close to downtown Dublin and close to the airport. It has a nice homey feel to the place with a charming owner, a good breakfast, and a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are large, and recently updated. Parking passes and spots are available.

Good location, clean, continental breakfast available, host was very friendly, we had 2 rooms-one was updated and had a TV in the room
The 2nd room had some mold, which the host pointed out and stated they would be re-doing the room in the coming weeks, this room did not have a TV although the listing stated all rooms have a TV

This accommodation was just perfect. Clean, comfortable, welcoming. We also really appreciated the flexibility of the self-service breakfast. We had an early flight and we were able to enjoy a quick coffee before leaving the b&b which was lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay at Avoca. This is a very unique B&B, every corner and every detail speak of the love the hosts put into it. Jack was so nice and extremely accomodating. And his little dog Chilli is the reason that my eight year old son - who up to our stay at Avoca was really afraid of dogs - now wants a pet of his own.

The owner/proprietor, Jack, was a wonderful host who went out of his way to assist us. He was very amenable and we learned a great deal in our conversations with him. The accommodations could not have been nicer and the room was spotless. Also enjoyed tremendously the breakfasts that were provided daily.

I liked everything about this place, everything! Starting from the warmly welcoming owner Jack, his wife, and their cute dog, the lovely and magical atmosphere, the superb king room with very well-thought-out decorations, complimentary breakfast, and everything. The large king bed and soft pillows were the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The room had different types of lighting to suit your mood, adequate electrical sockets, thick and soft floor carpet, electric cattle, tea/coffee, water, dressing/working table, beautiful bathroom, good Wi-Fi, everything that I needed to make my stay relaxed and comfortable. Jack extended his cooperation whenever needed. I wish them the very best. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend this place to you all who plan to visit Dublin.
I cannot think of anything that could be better.

Breakfast more than met our needs. The room was very comfortable - plenty of light and plugs. The shower and bath were roomy and very clean. The bed was the best bed I've slept in. I fell asleep immediately upon my head touching the pillow. The property is close to bus stops, pubs, the Botanical Gardens and Glasnevin Cemetery. Our landlord brought towels when we arrived back from a walk having been caught in a downpour, before we could ask. He gave us a lift to the main road as we went out to catch a bus for an evening concert in the city center. I cannot say enough about our stay there. I only hesitate to provide this review because, once people know about Avoca House, I may find it difficult to book a room in the future. This was probably the best B&B I have personally experienced.
I had no complaints at all.
